    I laughed so hard when the video cut at 15:50-16:07 It was like one of those memes that’s like “draw a circle and just add a few small details” and then the artist skips and it goes to this fully detailed drawing I laughed for a good 5 minutes, I love this tutorial and can’t wait to try it myself

    I doubt that you'll even see this, since I noticed you stopped making videos about a year ago, but either way I just wanted to thank you for this tutorial. You were very clear w/ the directions, showed the steps perfectly & made complete sense throughout. Your finished pieces are beautiful & I'm going.to try making the same right now. I have to say, though, that I'm pretty disappointed you don't still make tutorials. I just now stumbled upon your channel & got really excited at 1st- I'm constantly scouting for new polymer clay tutes that are easy to understand & not too complicated, or not sped up.. those are the worst. And I came across this video & loved it so much that I couldnt wait to subscribe but was really disappointed in seeing that you stopped. Well, I hope that you do see this & I really hope you come back. Thank you again for the wonderful tutorial.

  • @SlothAndWolf

    @SlothAndWolf

    Noelle Lewis Crafts I think I’m going to have to practice a lot haha I guess the thing that confused me most was the reduction because when I tried stretching and pulling it warped the image and it didn’t get that much smaller. Maybe tips to avoid warping or tips for reduction in general since it’s a very different shape.

  • @NoelleLewisCrafts

    @NoelleLewisCrafts

    6 жыл бұрын

    SlothAndWolf Don't worry, I've been making canes for a few years, mine were not great at first. Reduction is definitely one of the tricky parts and I'm not sure if I explained it very well. You can stretch it a bit but you mostly want to press in on the sides. Some people let it sit for quite a while first. It's also easier with circle & square canes where you can roll a little or use an acrylic block.

  • @SlothAndWolf

    @SlothAndWolf

    6 жыл бұрын

    Noelle Lewis Crafts yea I was kinda nervous with stretching it so I didn’t do that too much the pressing Was nerve wrecking haha but mine ended up with sharper and skinny look to it. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of it.

    SlothAndWolf It really is stressful sometimes! Good luck! I should mention that some distortion on the ends is to be expected, and as for the rest of the cane, sometimes I have to reshape mine a bit afterward.
