Joan Pons Art Nice!! Also, for painting the canvas black, I take a large wet sponge and dip it in black acrylic paint. The paint diffuses on the canvas way more quicker and it takes less paint than with a brush.

Awesome video, but you should try to center your camera so that people can see your whole canvas. And maybe take a second to show the tools you are using

It was so quick but the one tip I found really useful was using the tip of a paintbrush to create the stars by flicking it. I really like your painting!

I did one fairly similar the other day. It turned out great! I've found myself inspired and intrigued about the Galaxy paintings. I've done a few and love how they turn out, the different color contrasts and how they all lay is amazing! I'm definitely going to make this as one of my main style of paintings. They all turn out beautiful and all look unique.

If you are going to paint this, just turn the speed down. ((Go to the 3 dots in top right corner, choose playback speed. The higher numbers (above 1) are faster; the lower numbers (below 1) are slower))

Very nice style on the galaxy. I usually layer the stars so you have faded ones by using glaze over the earlier layers of stars. Nicely done Joan!

Mix white paint with water and take the brush and flick the white paint on Your canvas

Or...you can use an aerosol spray can of white....takes practice but the 'stars' you get are much more vibrant. Basically you hold the can upright..over the painting. Just dab the button a little bust of spray will some out and the dots will settle on the painting....voila!!! stars

How did you make the 'stars'? Honesty the high speed 'filming' makes it impossible to 'see' just what is happening. Is that a makeup brush you were using? and what did you use in the way of paint for the stars? was that watered down acrylic paint?

i've been wanting to do this for awhile, any tips befor i do it?
