Man, I love your repair videos. I find them strangely addictive. Have you ever consider expanding your work to other devices? Like gaming consoles. I would love to see you disassemble a PS3 or Wii U. Or even replacing the screen on a ps vita.

My boys screen was damaged (again) and i followed this video getting a digitizer for approx £12 from amazon, it came with all the required tools (except hairdryer) and was amazingly easy to replace. Thank you for the video, the phone is like new again.

Pretty great video as always. Already said a thousand times, but you're very calm, well organized, you don't miss the details and the high quality video (resolution, viewing angles etc) helps a lot to check if we're doing okay. Many, many thanks! Without this tutorial, my chances of getting the broken screen replaced were 0. With it, I've got it fixed rather quickly. I've noticed that the leftmost part of the touchscreen does not react to touch, but I guess I've gotten something wrong. Everything else went fine. Big thanks!

Perfect! My only wish now is to teach me what to do when my phone got wet....how to dry it and get it working again. I managed to dry the outside, and up to when the main board is removed and separated, the rest left intact. Used a hair dryer a bit on hot air....and that's as far as I could go. Please make a video on HOW TO DRY YOUR PHONE. Thanks a million.

Hi, mates. One of capacitors connecting main microphone 6:27, fell off, any ideas about their capacitance ? I know It's futile question but, it's worth a shot.

Perfect video i changed screen without problem. But after turning on phone i have problems with hitting correct letters in messaging for example when i try to hit letter R i have to hit somwhere between E_R or when i try hit O i have to hit between O_P so when lets say you divide keyboard in middle..left side of screen tends to be calibrated more on left side and right on right side....unlock sweeping etc works normal ...also sometimes have to push hard on the screen.Any thoughts???

Hi, changed my LCD and digitiser today, all went well, switched it on, and had home screen come up - could not do anything with touch screen( unlock screen)?? Opened it back up again to check to make sure things were connected properly. Now i cannot turn it on? But when i plug in the charger- the battery displays, and shows that it is charging. Hope this makes sense Andy

I have received a GT-S5839i with a broken digitizer, when i come to replace it the black hinge cover for the flex cable is missing (part that holds down the flex cable for the digitizer) is there any way of replacing this? if not could i improvise something to make pressure to make connection to the pins to make the digitizer work? I have been stuck with this for a few days now and im not making any progress, any advice will be great! thanks in advance.

Very nice video. I replaced my LCD screen and touchscreen with it. However, still have the original problem. The phone boots up with sound but there is no picture on the new LCD screen. I checked the snap in connection to the main circuit board twice. Any ideas what is wrong?

Mine is a s5939i and the first time i had changed the screen fliped and became up side down, then i've checked that i bought on s5930 digitizer. So i bought one that says S5939i and now, no screen. Hi....my repair of the cracked screen went without any problems, BUT after I switched the phone back on, it entered into safe mode (displayed in lower left corner), and also I can't acces all the applications stored on the micro sd (skype)...but it recognises the card. I tried everything, factory reset, deleted cache etc....but the safe mode is still there....anyone any idea??

Thanks for the tutorial! But I am still bothered by something : I saw you removed 2 layers of adhesive, was it LOCA? do I need to buy LOCA for the S5830?or was it non liquid adhesive? Because I heard if you dont buy the adhesive between the LCD and digitizer you'll get an annoying gap.

Use isopropyl alcohol to remove the durty glue from the case,with screwdriver you will leave a scratch 20:48 :) isopropyl alcoho it's work very nice and it's also good for the circuit board prevent the oxidation and leave a nice clean surface.

I have a galaxy ace what you might wanna try is go into settings then display at the very bottom of that menu you will see horizontal calibration give the a try before your completely reset your phone if you havent do e so already

the lcd screen has 2 parts..one darker an the other clearer.. what if this 2 parts separate? can i put together carefully with that tape again? or is not going to work? :/
