My brother. I know this is going to sound dumb... but did you remember to install the two batteries into the actual head unit itself. There is a spot on his back to install two AAA batteries, but his head also opens and you have to install 2 more in there. You can take off his cap

So sorry to hear that your head didn't work dude, that's such a shame and honestly they need to send you a replacement because that's a once in a lifetime event you paid over 400 for. And as did I, and if that comes broken? Gonna be mad. But great review! Loved this!

Thanks for the kind words! And I've now had an email from customer services, saying they are waiting on replacement parts to be on stock. So a replacement head sounds like the primary solution.

@@vincentcastillo2498 they've said they are trying to source a replacement part for me next week. But no, they have not said to me that I need to send it all back.

My Galactus had a similar issue with the head. The eyes wouldn't light up. The rest of the head worked fine. I contacted CS and they told me I needed to send back everything to get a replacement. I'm debating if I want to go through that hassle of boxing everything up and praying that I get a new figure and not just a refund at the end of the day.

Great review. QUESTION: Did you happen to figure out how to remove the antennas/ antlers if you decided to put it in the box to be shipped?

Maybe bloodhawk from X-men 2099 for the Morg mold

Yeah they really should have given the Sentinel ratchet joints, I am very glad Galactus has them. Though in all fairness my Sentinel's knees hold up pretty well and I didn't need to do the whole knee fix, however yeah that is a major problem and I am glad to see it was fixed.

Oh shit, sorry to hear that. On the bright side (no pun intended), the light up feature is not that great anyway. Once I got mine, I will play with the light up feature once and never again. Doom head doesn't have the light up feature as well. Looking forward to hearing Ha$blow's response.

@@fridaynightnicktoons6885 I'm a long time jack Kirby fan. And I read all the original marvel comics during the 1960s and early to mid 70s. DC comics also. So I know what jack was responsible for as compared to Stan. It's easy to figure out. Just look at all the stuff jack did before and after his association with Stan. And the add up what Stan created on his own both before and after jack. You'll quickly see that jack created most if not all of what made marvel comics great. And spider man was no acception either because while Stan took credit for it, spider man was successful due mainly to Steve ditko. Doctor strange was also ditko. Stan was marten Goodman's nephew or some such relation. Goodman owned first timely comics in the 40s, then marvel in the 60s. So Stan Lee got all the credit. It's just that simple.

‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️My galactus has an issue on the top battery on his back. It overheats insanely and dangerously hot I’ve tried 2 different new batteries but I will not be doing it again I don’t want my house to explode. The chest lights work for like 10 seconds and then the button won’t work. I emailed hasbro couple days ago just waiting for their reply‼️‼️‼️‼️

Hey man, I had the same head issue with my Galactus. Be careful! Mine heated up every battery and they almost exploded. I have to reach out to customer care. I really hope they have extra parts.

I had the same issue but with the batteries on his back 🥴 the button light on his chest worked for like 15 seconds and then the lights turned off, I would press it again but it didn’t work and I noticed the battery was super hot. I emailed them about a week ago still no reply

@@e_maaann457 Could you feel the heat through the plastic or did you notice while opening it up and checking the batteries? Mine has zero QC issues, but this comments section is making me super paranoid and I'm sitting here repeatedly turning it on and feeling for heat. A heat issue seems like it'd have to be a problem with stripped insulation causing a short due to a sloppy assembly process.

@@Frankenstyleish yeah the plastic would heat up as well due to the batteries so I had to take them out. Hasbro sent me a return label and I returned it and they said they would send me a brand new one

So I just got my galactus. It was fine the day I got it but after two days the head started acting funny. It still turns on but it will randomly cut out. Sometimes it’s one for thirty seconds, sometimes only 8. The chest light seems to be working perfectly fine.

Gabriel! Ok, it maybe worth keeping an eye on that and trying different batteries to see if that changes the behaviour. My fingers are crossed for you.

They should absolutely send you a replacement head. You paid 400 dollars for it so you should have a fully functioning Galactus, as should all of us who backed him.

That's pretty amazing seeing how they had no contingency plan for spare parts let alone a whole new head. FedEx took my Unicron all over Hell's Half Acre but that's another story for another day. During my communication with the Pulse customer service they told me more than once that the above statement was the plan which was NO PLAN. I love them though still got my Uni and they sent me a Omega Supreme and the Quintesson Pit set (but that got pinched by FedEx itself) to make up for the consternation. I'm just hoping Star Saber and the H.I.S.S. tank are home runs.

@@MarkVersion1 Yes actually. Outer world panels had paint damage from being placed into the shipping carton before the paint had time to self level. Same type of paint damage on the folded panel sections on his calf section. At one point in his journey too me one of the excuses given to my wife by a FedEx station manager that the package needed to be quarantined for the Corona virus. They needed a excuse for why we couldn't come pick up our ONE A KIND collectible. They needed cover for rerouting from Atlanta to Newark for no discernable reason. Finally FedEx gets it here but didn't ask for a signature when it was required and left it with my son who was 12. Pulse handled it the best they could but I was definitely sensing panic on their part.

Pretty sure hasbro has extra copies for replacement parts and such. Hope you get your replacement for the asking price there shouldn't be an issue like that. tsk tsk. btw, could you measure the size dimension of the box. I know it's 23 inches wide by 35 inches long. I wanna know the thickness side. thanks

Hey Luis. Thanks for watching and yeah, situations like yours are why I mentioned it in the “cons” list of Galactus. But I think be patient and keep a look out… sometimes playing the long game means you might find him down the road close to the original price of the Haslab . 👍

Hasbro's QC issues are out of control. Four hundred dollars and it's broken straight out of the box. They've really gone down hill. Don't think I'll be spending much money with them anymore. They're pathetic.

The secret is to use a UK address for delivery, but then, whilst the cargo plane carrying Galactus is mid-air, you do a 90's-film-Executive-Decision style covert boarding and take the box with you back to the States. Simple!

Looks really cheap for the price. And I'm not even talking about the figures he comes with.

I'm receiving 5 of these on Thursday so I have to check all 5
