I wish every story like this didn't have the hero being a pilot, a commando, a diplomat, a xenobiologist, an Admiral, a ping pong champion, etc. all at once.

This story should be called "Brian does everything".

Earth builds an invincible fleet. Had their enemies running home just to be met by Earths allies... And then it was all set aside to allow everything to be decided by 2 lone combatants..🙄

Apparently in this alternate universe, they've never heard of a Chain of Command...or anything related to common sense or OpSec.

They have the fastest drives in the galaxy. Able to out manoeuvre even their weapons. But yet couldn’t bleep up wit damaged retreating ships. How does that work?

I bet if you removed the word "Palpable" from these A.I. written stories, the program would melt down. I've counted the word used 5 times in ten minutes in past stories. I still like hearing them but This A.I. is a little too artificial.
