As a young child going to an old country church with my uncle and aunt. That was where the seed was planted in me.. I didn't really understand the message past hell, damnation, fire and brimstone preaching. But i knew that i wanted the fire for Jesus in me.. With a mother who was unGodly, selfish and abusive. I turned away and ended up drowning in my sin.. But after so many years i came back and my Heavenly Father welcomed me back with arms wide open. Thank you Jesus Christ.. Emmanuel.. The Light that I'm drawn to. Worthy is the Lamb..

Take the next step in faith. Don’t be afraid. God’s got you. ♥ I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where KZread started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.💖💖🍀🍀

I remember singing the The Old Country Church with my Dad 2 Sisters and my Brother. Mom would sit in the pew praying. Now it's just the 3 of us left, waiting for the Rapture. What a reunion that will be. We're going to HEAVEN soon.

Love the old hymns! They have been abandoned in far too many churches these days.

I've been listening to this song now for maybe 3 years, and every time I hear it, it just reminds me of the life that I once had before my parents divorced. I'm 39, but I can remember going to the Church of God and singing from the hymnal. Miss those days so much. I still attend church, not as regularly as I'd like (or should), but I still lay all of my trust in God, and this song just brought back wonderful memories!

Soooooo beautiful! Yes, they have left us and are now safe in the arms of Jesus waiting for us to all go up and IMAGINE the singing when we are all with our Lord Jesus Christ FOREVER!!!

I was in a country church in China, where my grandmother was reside and keep that church gate, she was passed away. When I listen to this song I recalled the old days, I love the saints, wherever I am I love to blend with the saints especially in some old country churches

Bass was just amazing. The elderlies are truly a real source of inspiration to the younger generation when it comes to singing..Love listening to them

Listening to these hymns brings me so much joy. My grandmother loved these, and while I am grieving for her passing last January, I have hope that I will see her and my other dear departed family member by the side of that beautiful river someday ❤️

It would have been a song recorded in the early seventies in U.S!The true American spirit! The ever lasting voices that explode as a team work! One will never get tired watching this video! The old gentle man wearing specks masters the bass! Indeed worth appreciated!

I absolutely love this. Im 62 & this takes me back to my childhood. I was raised Church of God. I remember when i was very young & we would have the Lords Supper & foot washing. And i loved when we would sing when the saints go marching in & it would turn into the victory march.

Imagine the glory of praising the Lord through to old age. It's humbling to see a man olin his prime age praising the Lord.

How can you not feel joy hearing this?

JD Sumner is the low bass. He was singing gospel since the 50s and met Elvis in the fifties and tours with him throughout the seventies.

Listening to this old Christian songs lift your Spirit seriously.

I wish I could give as many thumbs up to this song. My Lord Jesus lead me in your path until the end of my journey on this earth. You are my Lord and my Savior.

Via Lynda Randle on the song God on the Mountain (also sung by Marco Gottardi in Switzerland) I came across the Gaither Vocal Group Chor (Gaither Music TV). I am fascinated by the many inspiring songs with the excellent singers and singers. Almost every day I listen to several songs that also convey a clear message that touches the heart. A gift that this choir exists.

That is my campground tabernacle I knew they filmed there but could never find a video of it till now love listening and watching them they always make a hard day better.

Always loved these get togethers!

It's now March 2023.and im still listening to this absolutely fantastic music 🎶 I am unable to comprehend anything better. The joy it gives lifts me up every time.

When I watch this video, I can't help but look and see how many of the wonderful singers who have passed on. I'm not sad, either, because this is just small taste of what the choir sounds like in Heaven. It's difficult to even comprehend because it will be so wonderful.

One reason why these people made it to their 90s peace of mind and relying on God. Wonderful voices and setting. You can imagine having such praises in the evening after milking cows and taking dinner. So wonderful and breathtaking

Praise the Lord I remember shouting down the isle. And the sweet glory of the Lord coming down...AWESOME TIMES!!!

It is great to hear these old hymns. I saw the Gaither Trio at the Tulsa Baptist Temple in Tulsa, OK years ago. They were good then and still are. That was many moons ago. Bro. Clifford Clark was my pastor. I now go to the Fellowship Baptist Church here in Liberal, KS. Our Church is filled with talent. We have a preacher who can sing beautifully and the choir we have is the greatest this side of Heaven. Thank God for his blessings.

This is how i understand the true gospel music. Bill Gaither's assemblies are the best. And his own band is the top! I'm musician from Russia and like different american music. Country/bluegrass genres are my favourites too.
