I don't think this song will make it to the hymnals, but it should. Church should be like this.

I wish more people today felt the safety and joy of the Church. Maybe there would be less violence, hatred and fear in the world. I see Wes with his boys praying at the alter and feel more need to do that. It saddens me to hear men and women in colleges feeling they don’t have a safe place. It is right here. Open the door, walk in and give your soul to our Lord.

If we let GOD run the church and not some “ holier than though long time members”. Self appointed to judge and call down people who are reaching out to the lost and new Christians. etc. I put her in her place through love and kindness and prayer. She called me on a church group online so I answered her on that same place. I totally forgave her but she hasn’t spoken to me. Bad things by a “Christian” could cause someone weaker than me in Christ turn away. Who wants to be working hard for God to serve and help his people be treated like that?

When I listen to this song makes me want to drop to my kness and raise my hands up to my Almighty God Jesus my Lord and Savior...I can feel the Holy Spirit so strong...maybe to some I may sound dramatic but I welcome what I feel !!

This is my favourite song from the Gaithers. Regardless of our disregard of the Church building it is still one of the most sacred places on earth. This is even more true when true worshipers gather there in.in addition I appreciate this song for the following reasons: 1. The words encapsulate the purpose of the church. 2. The music is beautiful as it accentuates the phrases of the song. 3. The singers are harmonious and they truly understand the song and the music. Absolutely Beautiful. After having lost my father two weeks ago, and now watching and listening to this, it brings a flood of emotions. I grew up watching my father as a minister cry with others, baptize others, pray with others and serve communion, bury others and love and laugh with others. This song hits home with me in so many ways, thank you for sharing such a wonderful song.

This is the place! The church needs this and the flock needs to go back to the church because this is the place from where we give and spread the forgiveness and love of God.

I missed going to our Church and to physically be with my Christian brothers and sister. I pray that this virus will be defeated and this lock down be lifted.

Yes definitely.... but given the situation the world is facing since 2019 where this place was forced to close... this place became just a building with 4 walls.... but as 1st corinthians 3:16 says.... we remain forever with us and let God and his spirit dwell in us till we say good bye... So people turn back to God find yourself and make yourself a temple of God....

I shared this post on FB in February 2020. Just sharing What a beautiful song! Sang this to myself at church today. I walked into this sacred sanctuary with a burdened and weary heart having to juggle too many things - a small boy whose ICSE syllabus and Monday tests is exhausting me, a not potty trained 40 day old puppy that flatly refused to have meals today, a busy office with house warming deadlines to meet this week and the past few weeks, a husband who's not home at the moment and all the chaos that ensues that. Just overall way in over my head. But I was determined to make it to church just because I love Jesus too much to make slight of a commitment. So I bowed my head and let go. I gave it over to Him. I let the tears flow. Yes I'm flawed :) Such peace within the walls. Such a holy sanctuary. Such a blessing to have even stepped in. What a safe haven it has always been for me for the past 31 years no matter the size of the storm! The peace and calm that wash over you is incredible. So I want to tell you 'This is the place where I pray This is the place where I cry ...I bring my fears And take His peace' Listen to this song and know that every single word rings true.

Hello how are you doing today ?

I can't tell you how much this makes me miss the church I grew up in. It's not there now. Had a bad minister that tire the congregation apart over whether they would preach out of fear or out of love as they always had. I kiss my Grandma up at the piano, I miss Sunday school down in the basement. I miss the friends I had grown up with from our days in the nursery together. I miss whiry birds and jet cadets and VBS and summer camp. I miss the potlucks and being baptized in the big baptismal with those same friends. I miss the beautiful cross mounted in the front where I would look up and imagine Jesus dying in the cross after I took communion. I miss the beauty of the sanctuary. I attended my Grandparents funerals there. I remember feeling the holy spirit fill that place. I miss it so much. I don't know where I would have ended up without that place and my faith.

I had to listen to this beautiful song. I need to listen and ask for your prayers for me today. I will be having dental surgery at 9 o’clock this morning. I always love 💕 to listen to any song from the Gaither Band for prayer.. God always blesses your work.

It's sad when so many people say "I'm a Christian, but I don't go to church." It is so important to surround yourself with fellow believers. It doesn't matter if it's in a home or a cathedral. The church is a place where we can cry, rejoice, worship, be encouraged, etc. Check out Hebrews 10:24-25 and Matthew 18:20

Yes, the church is its people, but also the building it meets in. Christ tells us to not forsake the fellowship of meeting with each other (Christians) it so strengthens the body of Christ. We so need to be STRONG in these times!!!!! Yes, lean on each other and the Everlasting Arms!!!!! There are much harder times coming, and we need to know our Bibles and stay close to each other!

My mum dedicated this song to me and i cant stop listening to it. With the corona virus, it has reminded me of how much i miss fellowshipping with everyone and just how important church is.
