I love this vocal group whether its solo or group it inspires me to be a better person. I am born agai. And serve God with all my heart and soul. I am 91 and i am recovering from A massive stroke so i asked God for a ministry and the neighbor across The street had a stroke and her daughter called my daughter and asked if we would mind texting her Or dropping her a card now and then so my daughter said mom theres your ministry writing cards to shut ins. So 3 of the people have passed away but my job continues on. Praise god no matter our age we can find something to do for our precious lord who gave his life for us. The lady a ross the street lost her father and they attended our church though i had never met them i sent her a bereavement card and she was very grateful i still write her and its been over a year. I am also on our prayer chain as a prayer warrior. So theres things to do if you want a job, just pray and open your eyes and look around you will find things to do. Praise God for loving me. I love Him in return too.

"Walk and talk all the way to Glory, walk and tell the Blessed Old Story" -- the only way to live this pilgrim life in true Peace and Joy is to walk (not run!) on the way to Glory, reminding ourselves, and reminding and sharing with others the Blessed Story of God's infinite Love for us, how He saved us, and is coming back again! Ivan Parker, Fr. O'Fallin and I wrote We're Gonna Walk This Road To Glory. The song was written on Labor Day in 1992. The song was written in Italian. We got sleet the morning this song was written.

My Lord And I was written two days after the Plum family reunion which was held at Eagle Nest Lake in Northern New Mexico on Memorial Day of 1992. Richard Plummer and I got stuck in bad weather going home from the reunion. We got as far as Las Vegas and had to wait until snow plows could clear a late season snow from Interstate 25. Then we got to Santa Fe the next day and had to stop again because of freezing rain. We got a hotel room in Santa Fe and went to eat in the hotel restaurant. We started composing My Lord And I while we ate. The first verse and chorus were written by Richard Plummer and I in Plumerian. Other people we knew stopped by to visit with us and contributed thoughts for this song. Shawn Obrien came in and translated the chorus into Spanish. Then Ivan Parker showed up. He was scheduled to have a concert in Santa Fe that night. He translated the chorus into Italian. 1:03 1:03 1:03 😅

I will add more coments about the writing of My Lord And I. The first verse and chorus were written in Plumerian. Then the chorus was translated into Spanish. And then the chorus was translated into Italian. Then Al Chacon arrived who was a teacher at the junior high school in Pojaque (NM). He translated the chorus into the Tawa language spoken at Pojaque Pueblo. Deborah Chacon translated the song into Portuguese. Patrick Sheltra arrived and he added a bridge in the language of the Jemez Pueblo. Then Robert McAnalley arrived and he translated the chorus into Catalina (a regional language spoken along the Mediterranean Coast of Spain, France, Italy and Corsica). Then Nell Dean arrived and she translated the language of the Abique Pueblo. Sharon Wasson also arrived and she translated the chorus into the Chama language. That group doesn't have recognition but they are a Native American band in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. Then Robert Medinna arrived and he added an idea in the Mescalero Apache language. Then Roberta Medinna translated the chorus into Arabic.

There is another language translation to add. Jennifer Baca arrived with her mother. She translated the chorus into the language of Boca Pueblo where her father lived.

Then there was a verse written by Jennifer Baca's maternal grandfather who was also with them. He translated the chorus into Persian.

Bill,Guy,Wes and Marshall are the best team ever. I love listening to their songs. When I turned 18 and Now i m 26, I always listen to their songs. God Bless our dear Brothers.

I wish we could find a church that would sing these songs. We have a great pastor who teaches the Bible, but the songs are the new ones with no anointing

Gordon Gosh and I wrote My Lord And I on Easter of 2000. The song was written in Flemish.

This is the very best GVB ever. They all have so much fun singing together praising GOD and JESUS CHRIST. Their love for THEM is so out there for everyone to see.

No. Not quite. There is that one verse, true. Look at how many Pop & Rock songs repeat even fewer words over and over- some without a single verse at all! I think you're a whiner; a "whiney-baby". The vocals and message here are fine. Good enough for me, although the original recorded version can't be topped.
