Btw that de-hooker trick works for freshwater too. We just use sticks. Works great for fish that swallow the hook. Grandpa taught me how to do that

Josh, I thought to tell you that new FWC regulation is for sharks, you need Duratin hooks. They rust within 2-3 days. Therefore, if the Shark breaks the line (or leader) the hook will rust away in a few days. Thanks for the awesome videos!!!

Fairly positive it’s illegal to use a regulated species, like vermillion, for bait.

Why do you usually only fish spinning rods? How come you don't use conventional reels such as the talica or trinidad?

As far as I know, using legal size fish as bait is perfectly legal and counts towards your bag limit. Groupers love eating snappers.

@@BlacktipH I've always heard the opposite, in the gulf at least. Doesn't stop people from doing it, but you may want to make absolutely sure before you post any video of you using them. That said, they're amazing baits lol. Great video dude!

The only charter fishing company I work with out of Destin is Gulf Angler Charters. Preston was in the video catching the goliath grouper from the dock.
