Fun fact; as a person who used Gacha (and still does for planning outfits) the spelking and random censors were actually the game.. spelking was a way to get around it… it even censored “school” and I have no clue why

i think the reason why the walking takes so long is because when the creator put all the frames into the video maker they didn't bother editing the amount of time the frames were on screen for and just left them all at the default. the only reason why that one guy walking was so fast is because they used a pre-made animation

watching these videos suddenly makes me feel a lot more confident about my own story telling abilities… though, i do believe that while some of these mini movies may be…. incredibly questionable, the creators definitely have the ability to go on to become better at creating stories. it was through gacha that i became a more creative person overall, and i don’t think it would be unlikely for many gacha creators to become authors, artists, actors, or anything else. while poking fun at stories like these are enjoyable, i think it’s important to remember that these are all just people who are trying to create things that they hope others will enjoy, and i’d love to see many of them end up being experts and well-known people in their own creative fields

Same here. I started out using gacha to create my characters, before I moved on to ACTUALLY drawing things myself. I'm still learning, but (and I can't believe I'm saying this) I likely started my skills after using gacha for a while.

As a gacha user (only for character designs), I can confirm all the topics are SO common…

the immense joy i get when i see a new gacha bingo video on my youtube feed is odd at this point. i don't know what's so fun about watching a grown man become more and more scared of this generation but it's fun.

I'm only 6 and a half minutes in, and I so desperately want this to be a story about this girl's father coming out as gay/bi/pan/ect, and just got engaged with the "father's good friend", and it becomes a story about how she's not ready for another parent despite the new guy wanting to be called "Father" straight away, and they eventually work it out and come to the realization that not every relationship has to have clear cut family roles in order to still have that connection. Edit: OH NO, HE'S THE FATHER OF THE GUY. THEY'D BE STEP-SIBLINGS.

If anyone is wondering why walking animations take so long sometimes lemme explain: so basically in usual phone editing softwares when you put the screenshots together each usualy last like 3 secs+ so some people do all the other editing and just are to lazy to make them last shorter ig Edit: when its good its usualy just a video of the person walking put ontop of it and move accross the screen so the person walking by her in the father friend call probably was just added for more immersion and when its slow it was made in the normal screenshots and thats it
