⁠either way, it technically doesn’t exist, it’s basically a personal hell. Cassidy, as I see it, controls everything about his hell. Mainly the animatronics. So, in all logical sense, a controlled being usually has no personal memories of what happened, because at that time, it wasn’t them. You could also argue that it isn’t even the original animatronics, but all just replicas.

To me, I feel that first scene in the basement had way to much detail in that part, but since the first time I’ve seen that video, I’ve become ok with it. 4-5 years ago, when I first watched it, I had a nightlight for the next month.

If you will notice William cannot control the steering wheel it controls itself, leading to the conclusion that William, in fact, is surely in hell. He did not kill himself.

and there's a smooth transition between him "stabbing himself" and him in his second stage in hell thingamajig 'cause there's three stages of his hell in the music video, one where he's at the pizzeria, one where he's in the red void and he gets attacked, and one where it's just max ucn which is truly a nightmare to beat in the ucn (ultimate custom night) game
