Honestly bree and gaby made the show worth watching the strongest characters played excellently. couldn't stand the whiny, complaining other two girls

I get it, but everyone is different. Without Susan being the weak link we wouldnt have the story. This made the dynamic more interesting. But yeah - I do agree. Susan couldnt toughen up more. Lynette was losing it (every tree is as strong as it gets). Bree and Gabrielle shouldnt do stuff without the other girls knowing. Susanwas the weak link, as I mentioned, and Lynette couldnt keep it from Tom, but decicions Gabi and Bree made broke the camel's back.

I wasn't crazy about this story, but the moment Bree says "That's not gonna happen," the show kinda came back to life for me.

Probably would have been faster and easier to get Gabby's gun from the safe and plant it in Alejandro's hand and go with the self-defense story instead of hiding the body. But then there would be no arc for season 8.

well they had to act fast as guests were coming. They couldn’t use that story if they waited till after the party, as the body would already have gotten cold.

The aftermath of this when Susan feels so guilty about this doesn't really make any sense to me. First of all, she didn't feel any remorse whatsoever when Katherine's husband Wayne was killed and she covered up for that , yet when Gaby's stepfather, a rapistr, is killed by her husband who is protecting her she goes off on a huge guilt trip. typical Susan. She woudl be willing to ruin the lives of other people just to makae herself feel better. typiclly selfish Susan.

You got a point there, it didn’t make sense at all. Like why would Susan feels real bad for something that she didn’t even do, okay I understand that she may feel guilty covering a crime. But that kind of behaviour didn’t seem to have the same affect, when she caused death the of two people car accident...

@@Aaron-MackHartford I rewatched the show in one week recently. Susan is just a very emotional being; she always have been (which is a great work on the actress' part; AFAIK she was described as a lone she-wolf by the rest of the cast). She felt guilty just over helping to cover everything up, against her own morality, and keeping a secret. I her perfect scenario, she would plead guilty. As for causing the accident - she did ruin her marriage almost to a point of no return over that. She was punished by the law, but it wasnt enugh. I think Susan felt just the same (if not higher) level of guilt there, but in this case there is a factor of keeping what happened secret.

On that same episode they jumped to 5 years so they didnt really have the time to show her struggle. Susan was a mess in season 5 after accidentally killing the Davis.

@@sudokujohn Susan was a disaster. She burned down her neighbours HOUSE and got away with it. She gets away with everything. Drives me nuts. Susan is not my favorite character.

@@christiansarrazin8564 In "Ugly Betty" the same actor that plays Gaby's abuser, plays a sweet, loving, and supportive father to the main character of Betty. Ugly Betty was one of his most known roles that came before this, so it's a pretty shocking to see someone you've come to see a certain way due to a role, become a completely different person who is supposed to be a Villian.

they could have easily get away with it, Chuck and Bob was there to analyze what could go wrong. Also, Gaby could have summon a witness with the nun she ran into few episodes ago if things needed trial.

Rhyperior Ranger well for one it would have Gaby’s prints if not also Carlos. Also unless she had it illegally it would be registered as Gaby’s gun not Alejandro’s Easy to find out probably. Plus the fact that she never reported him, as a teenager when it happened or here when he started stalking her. Although it was true he assaulted her and was stalking her to the police it would probably look like a very clever cover story she, her husband and friends came up with That’s why they didn’t call 911

@@killianmmmoore Well, she could have told that she noticed that someone was stalking her (have videos from supermarket as an evidence), so as a self defense she bought a gun. He came in, took a gun, because he was stalking her and knew that she owns, so she couldn't shoot him and threatened to kill her with that gun, then Carlos came in and protected Gaby because "he was pointing gun at his wife".

Truth be told, if they would've just told Brees man what happened, it would've been self defense. That law was made to be able to protect yourself and loved ones. He was in her house, ready to rape her and Carlos has every right to protect his wife. And from what the cop said later in that season, he would've protected bree and called it in as self defense.

Good luck proofing anything u said, Carlos’s committed manslaughter if he’s lucky the prosecutor would even see it that way. An unarmed man was killed by a convicted felon(Carlos), the man was fully cloth, so how do u prove rape? What they did was obstruction of justice and tempering evidence. And the women accused Paul and Lynette told Eddie to turn himself in, they are hypocrites

@@bobsink624 Carlos was a convicted felon, but for white-collar crimes. Most states recognize killing a dangerous intruder in your home as "self defense". Carlos would have never even been tried. They just had to drag this out to have more plot lines for the next season.

That’s Gabby’s father, not a normal intruder( they are related to him, good luck proving he’s an intruder), and Carlos assaulted two gay guys before, none of those are “white collar” crimes. @@bobsink624 It was Gabby's former stepfather, not her father. Who, by the way, faked his death at some point earlier in the series, and was living under an assumed identity. So, yes, pretty easy to prove he was a sketchy character and an intruder. Especially since his was remarried under his fake identity, and his new stepdaughter was also a victim of his sexual abuse, which would have certainly come up if there were a trial. And yes, I remember Carlos assulting two gay guys before, because he didn't know they were gay and thought they were after Gabby. That isn't what he went to prison for, he was in prison for crimes related to his business dealings. So, I have to ask, did YOU even watch the show?

What I don’t get is why didn’t Carlos just yank him off of her and tied him down so he couldn’t run especially since he knew the gun was in the safe it would have been easier for him to do that and with the size of him compared to Alejandro he could have easily overpowered him with minimal effort the hitting him with the candle stick was unnecessary

Carlos knew GABI'S gun was in a safe- he has no idea what kind of a weapon Alejandro might have. But also, he was certainly not thinking clearly; just a few moments after Alejandro is down he understands the situation, and the consequences, but in the moment of the hit, he was just thinking about Alejandro being about to hurt his traumatized wife all over again.

I know its for the show and entertainment 😂but even if he was unarmed, they couldve reported and explained the he came in univited and treathened Gabi ect.. I dont know why people are mad at susan and Lynette. Id feel the same way. What happened was clearly wrong. ppl should be mad at Gabi instead. Shes scared to lose her family if she or carlos goes to jail, but would rather put her friends in danger and risk their lives and family. 🙄🙄Im def om Susan and Lynette's side. Carlos wanted to do the right thing, but everytime Gabi butts in, theres always a problem. She always wait for something to cool down and just go away before she is forced to take responsibility or just get away with it.
