Wow ! An absolutely beautiful performance. The performances by these young people are a refreshing reminder that not all kids are glued to their smartphone. The human soul/spirt may endure after all.

An exquisite performance. The entire orchestra sounds inspired. Magical. The solo flute is lyrical perfection - and the cello solo at 5:40 is deeply moving. Both touch the heart.

Gabriel Urbain Fauré who wrote this masterpiece must had a very beautiful soul, to create beautiful evergreen art as this song is. I would think he had found the inspiration in silent moments, maybe while overlooking a beautiful view in nature. What I see for my inner eye, when I listen to Pavane, is lot of beautiful fairies ice-skating on a frozen pond and I see frozen fountains there too. I can also see the fairies fly through endless fields of flowers and all that exist is love, peace, beauty and harmony. It has a mood that is just as beautiful as it is melancholic and tender and you may cry tears of joy... or maybe sadness, depending on what kind of mood you're in and things happening in your life in general. Anyways, sad or glad tears or no tears, this music can heal your soul and give you lot of hope. Music as this has the power to save lives, by giving back people their lost lust to live. I feel so so glad to hear this song. Thank you so much, God bless! From Norway with a lot of love.
