What was wrong with the motor? I just got a 07 HR with 124k miles on it. It don't burn oil or leak anything. These motors pretty reliable ? It's also full bolt on I believe. Edit: I have the 07 rev up, I don't think it's an HR lol.

Watch till the end! The motor had several issues causing it not to run correctly. Sketchy ignition wiring, excessive use of rtv sealant on valve covers, and probably blown piston rings. Were the main culprit here. If you have a coupe its a rev-up de motor unless its been swapped. 07+ sedans came with the HR motor. That being said, Rev-up motors can be reliable just like any other engine it needs to be maintained and well taken care of. If the previous owner/s of the car knew what they were doing then you probably have a good motor especially at such low miles👍🏽 Just keep up with those oil changes and check it frequently!! Just because it doesn’t burn oil now doesn’t mean she wont start doing it randomly!

@@Blackrosemotors Thanks for the info man, it's a 07 coupe and has so many aftermarkets I am just going through the car right now installing all new Z1 vacuum and coolant lines. I saw the RTV on that motor and im kinda laughing because I have the same color RTV hanging out of my plenum lol. Dude def over did the RTV. Currently doing the rear calipers and brakes in the rear. Also sanding the plenum down and polishing it. Subbed!
