Every combiner leader that time all have this "3rd" mode silverbolt, onslaught, motormaster, hot spot, scattershot, not sure about hun-gur though

Motormaster was my favorite G1 toy for sure. I loved that he was a truck rival for Prime. And there's just something about the color schemes of the whole team. So cool! Can't wait to collect the whole X-Transbots MP team!

I'm glad now that the new generation stunticons and other combiner teams are scaled properly compared to g1 80s toys. I cannot believe how much more detailed as well as complex to make robot and vehicle mode more accurate as they appears on g1 cartoon.

Motormaster: Combining with Trypticon before Titans Return...

Yeah: it’s a G1 Toy but it is still amazing how awful those robot modes look compared to the Constructicons G1 toys’ robot modes; which came much earlier and yet looked a lot better than these.

The Japanese version of Motor Master has a spring launching mechanism for "ramp mode."

This along with all of your reviews are really grade A awesome, tour the first toy reviewer I’ve subscribed to mainly for your awesome content. Keep up the good work man

I watch these videos primarily for 2 things, The skit at the end, and the THROWING OF THE BOXES!

Can you please do the G1 Combaticons next?

I love how screwed up the scale was back in G1. Also the ultra simple transformations, especially the scramble city combiners like these guys.

Drag Strip and Scamper were the first Transformers I ever had. Seeing Drag Strip before his stickers wore out brings back memories.

Great review on the G1 Stunticons, Emgo. I bought the KO G1 reissue Stunticons and bought the repro labels and applied them. Bought this set and reprolabels 5 years ago.

I always thought it was interesting how the G1 combiner limbs were either just the shin or the whole arm and could switch if they wanted to.

Think the Constructicons were the only ones that couldn't switch position, but then I don't actually know that for sure. I do know they weren't Scramble City combiners. Was under the impression that only the Scramble City combiners in G1 could switch the limb bots positions.

Aerialbots, Stunticons, Protectobots, Combaticons, Terrorcons, Technobots, Seacons.... all of those guys were Scramble City style combiners.

Did you hear of the new g1 reissue of soundwave?

I remember having one of these when I was a kid in a local toy store that sells old 80's toy, and over the years i lost mine I hope I could find another one of these

I will be very happy to say it again I love the introduction to you videos

My dad had breakdown and wildrider when I was a kid and I remember when he first told me you could combine five transformers to get a bigger robot it blew my mind.

Menasor was nice, but I've always been a defensor boy. Mainly cause the only g1 toy I ever owned back in the 90's was First Aid. But now a whole 22 years later I have 4/5 Defensor parts, just need Blades. Managed to get a complete Hot Spot, carded but worn Groove and loose no accessories Streetwise. Been a big fan of you reviews for the past 2 to 3 years now and will be with you many years to come.Keep up the good work!

You should do a g1 review once a week/month

I've just finished watching "The Transformers" episode "The Key To Victor Sigma Part 2" when your Stunticons review popped up on KZread minutes later last Friday. Good review by way on the Stunticons were super tough for me to get, bought the last set on Amazon.com and I'm very happy about the slow month long delivery by the US Postal Service that resulted the third party seller I've ordered the Stunticons from to give me the G1 Technobots for free to make up for it. 😎

If these G1 Moulds and designs were released today....They'd be filling up shelves in Poundland!

The Best version of these guys!! I'm hoping someday some company just updates these guys and keeps motor master the way he is. Just give him and the others more articulation. I wouldn't mind the Menasor merging pieces at all.

I had to look it up to answer this. The Japanese release did have a springloaded mechanism to launch the car with. Soo cool seeing the original figures again

I only ever had 2 full combiners as a kid, Menasor and Defensor. I still have both, combined, sitting on my shelf. Recently got the reissue Constructicon set - I only had 2 of the Constructicons as a kid, and I had lost a bunch of them years ago and never really knew what happened to them. Now I've been buying the MPs and I love how they look, especially Optimus (MP-10) and Megatron (MP-36.)

Hi Emgo I have the KO set with only 2 complaints and 1 lesser complaint but more of a question. The first complaint is Deadends screws or bolts in the rear of the car cannot stay in place and after swiveling the legs out they screws will pop out after every 6 times. So I decided to reverse the screws and out them from the underneath side and they stay in nice. Haven't popped out yet. The 2nd complaint is in menasor mode the heads of breakdown and wild rider wont peg into tight of motormaster. The last thing that is a question is why aren't there pipes on motormaster ? Looks kinda daul without them.

The intact cab and trailer in ramp mode is what usually becomes the robot in most Motormaster incarnations after G1.

I remember how excited I was when Menasor and Superion came out. I stopped believing in Santa when they weren't under the tree that Christmas.

The Stunticons were one of the Scramble City combiner sets, right? Weren't the limbs supposed to be interchangeable both with other Scramble City sets and within their specific set? Like they could each be arm or leg bots.

The G2 Stunticon & Protectobot sets should've been mass produced and released...

These were the best we got back in the 1980s. But I couldn't help but buy the Transformers legacy stunticons figures released recently. They are in about perfect scale with the G1 Autobots cars

I actually always liked this better than Devistator. Could you also do a review of Gobots Puzzler Combiner?

Emgo do you have any G1 Autobot combiners that you could review.

I recently got a g1 prime reissue and I was surprised with how articulated he was. I like these toys a lot.

Handling scale, I used perception. When I had small scale I insisted my friends play on the other side of the room with the bigger bots. If reversed and I had the larger scale still worked but pretend they were far away and scale really didn't matter. Sad I lied, I had no friends

Oh man, I remember pinching my fingers. Good times.

Do Dead End and Breakdown have the same mould? Can you "scramble city" with these guys?

they're similar molds. yes, they can scramble city.

I never got Transformers as a kid too much, but He-Man, that I had almost all of, and wish I still had those toys.

I didn't realise this was a set. I had 3/5 of this collection when I was younger and still have the white/creamy coloured one to this day

I got this as a set for my birthday in 1986 - still have the full set. Did you know Motormaster's base mode not only connects to Trypticon, but also can connect to Metroplex. The Stunticons and Combaticons were designed to interact with Metroplex and the Aerialbots and Protectobots.

G1 motormaster looks like a smaller black version of optimus prime. No wonder optimus can disguise as motormaster

Every time I see a modern take on MororMaster I try to remember how he looked like as a G1 toy and I've watched this video so many times now. And yes, he's as blocky as could be expected. Plus it's G1 so scale can be thrown out the window :D

How do you know who is the legs and who is the arms

I found some g1 transformer at an antique store for 5 dollars that I might buy next week

I know the G1 motor master. Was tiny compared to G1 prime. So I would have G1 onslaught play chicken with Optimus prime instead where they were more in scale with each other.

I'm trying to get my own G1 Menasor together, so love the comparison of this set's quality. Very nice!

I have exactly the Italian version of this one with its well-preserved package.

Aaahhh, the memories.

I got Motormouth last year and found Dragstrip last week and I'm slowly piecing Menasor together. I didn't know that all the combiner leader can attach to Metroplex.

Sad thing is I used to have G1 Optimus Prime, G1 Bumblebee, G1 Hot Rod but they got old and someone I knew threw them in the bin when I wasn’t home I stopped talking to them after that

Wait, are the G1 Stunticons "Scramble City" Capable? It seems like the other two leg bots have the same capability to be arms as the other two. Cool.
