300g Rice Flour 粘米粉
10g Purple Sweet Potato Powder 紫薯粉
1 Tsp Salt 盐
450ml Water 水
3 Tbsp Shallot Oil 葱油
50g Tapioca Flour 木薯粉
◆ Filling Ingredients 內馅食材 ◆
3 Tbsp Shallot Oil 葱油
2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic 蒜末
60g Dried Shrimps 虾米
1 Chinese Sausage 腊肠
3 Chinese Mushrooms 香菇
650g Shredded Yam 芋丝
200ml Water 水
80g Shallots 红葱
◆ Seasoning 调味料 ◆
1 Tsp Light Soy Sauce 生抽
1 Tsp Fish Sauce 鱼露
0.5 Tsp Salt 盐
★ Fried Shallot Oil 炸葱油

Hi there, I m a teochew and this kuey is one of my late mother's favourites! Before festive holidays she would make the ingredients a day ahead even with the salted green beans ingredient where after pan fried we would make a small hole and drizzle in the braised pork or duck gravy...I tell you , you have to try and I m sure you will love it ❤❤❤

For Hakka Tao ban , grated groundnuts as filling. For TeoChew tao ban, steamed glutinous rice with mushroom and dry shrimps is used as filling and it is called bee bao bee.(米包米,饭粿)。

给老人家吃花生最好用水加盐煮至软,如果全部都是年轻人,可以用油炸香,吃起来脆脆香香

If don't have purple sweet potato powder, can used fresh type.

You can cook purple potatoes first and drain out 450ml the purple Colour Water and add in 😊👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
