My neighbor has 3x G wagons just for off-road and there is guy in my country that is famous for using G wagons as tractors on his fields and they actually do proper work. I do see them on off-road challenges etc often. So they are used as intended too.

The old G Wagon was originally built for military and is still used and produced like it. The new version with its independed suspesion is more like a civil car and the focus was set to use on the street. Thats why they use the "old" G Wagon in the military and not the new ones.

I learned was if you're painting the door, it's better to take off the mirror and belt molding (the trim at the bottom of the window) for a better paint job in the end. The mirror can get in the way, and if you're unlucky, the clear coat could stick in that gap between the door and the belt molding.

None of the development engineers or test drivers of the G wagon ever intended this kind of misuse on purpose. Definietly not on the old G wagon and even more likely on the new one.

I own a Mercedes and I have never seen a commercial. I saw the beginning of this video and it convinced me to buy another Mercedes.

"We're trying to figure out "sand mode" ," might be comically misunderstood to mean, "I accept that we look out of our element here, but we're going to try and make this work!" But then you realize the G wagon actually has sand mode...

Was in the market for one, but they seem unreliable. I'll just keep using my trusty Yugo. It's only needed every single part replaced 8 times, which is really good for a Yugo. They normally need every single part replaced 11 times.
