Seltos 140 pe drive ki hai kahi bhi unsafe nhi feel hoti hai , apne upar hai bas chalani Ani chahiye...

As far as splitting into 2 parts is concerned then Tata Altroz & TATA Harrier both have split into 2 parts. And GNCAP gives safety rating NOT build quality rating. Safety score of 8.03/17 of Seltos is because of Airbags getting bottomed out reducing 1+0.5+0.5 +1 points means total 3 points for heads & chest of driver & co-driver which is still same as many 4 star rated cars like Brezza , Tiago , Nexon first generation etc , Brake pedal design is likely to cause injury to feet injury which reduced its score to this 8.03/17. So its not only dependent on bodyshell strength. Bodyshell integrity of Seltos was rated "Borderline" case unstable means it is still better than Tiago , Renault kiger , Honda City , Renault Triber , Honda City , Xuv500 etc because all these cars have bodyshell integrity UNSTABLE rating though having 4 stars. So one must keep in mind that safety rating is not Loha rating it depends on number of Factors but there is a wrong propoganda going on youtube which is misguiding indian people with less knowledge about crash test ratings , simple example is Tata punch VS Thar. Punch has higher score than Thar so it does not mean it is more robust than Thar. And design also plays a major role in achieving good safety score thats why TATA motors is Not sending their harrier to GNCAP

The crash test ratings are based on a single front offset crash test in which a car is driven at 64 kmph with 40 percent overlap into a deformable barrier (equal to crash between two cars of the same weight). The Global NCAP usually chooses a base model for testing. If safety systems are the same across the range, they pick the heaviest model for maximum impact.

MG is chinese owned UK Business, just like Range Rover, Indian owned UK business, but there is a difference, Tata is private company, SAIC Motor is state owned, and MG cars do have a lot of tech to spy on.

Actually Kia and Hyundai are very good companies, selling cars with lots of features around the world, also with better built, unfortunately due to some extraordinary reasons or so, they sell cars with lesser built in India, probably because of price, since they provide class leading features in less expensive price bracket, they decided to compromise on the built, like some other companies who compromise on features, but provide better built.

Kia Seltos scores 5-star Safety Rating at the Australian NCAP but indian version barely managed 3 stars. 0.18 points difference between kia 3 star and a two star rating. Kia uses a lower quality steel in Indian seltos. Even the kia carnival was discontinued world wide and replaced with sedona but kia sold off the older varient in India almost at the same price. Kia sees India as some sort of dumping ground. Sorry for being critical but they are all facts.

Daksh bhai, aap k reviews bde informative hote hein , bhut helpful hote hein buyers kliye. But ek suggestion Dena chahta hun, aur yeh mujhe lga , ki aap jb interview krte ho owners ki , you just speak over them while they are speaking. Bhaisahab, unko bolne toh do achhe se pehle , fir aap bolna...hope you work on that...
