EVERYONE - the normal watch functions still work even if the battery is insufficiently charged for GPS functionality. This is exactly what I'm looking for, a watch that I can bruise around and still be able to take on long hikes / runs while gathering data. If I'm too lazy to charge it - it just becomes a simple G-shock with no GPS functionality. I like that.

I’ve been buying Casio watches since 1984 , This one is like no other ... I love mine 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Thanks for the review! Very helpful indeed! I own the black one myself and so far I love it. The only thing that I wish it could have is the hourly time signal. I usually get busy at work and lose track of time and such a simple function can help a lot.

I believe that is called SIG in the rangeman. The cheaper versions of the watch have it, this one should too.

It’s a gimmick for 99.9999% people, unless you plan on venturing into jungle and living there. Only it will probably die in the jungle because it won’t get enough solar exposure. I’ll prefer a watch that can last months without solar.

I’m wearing a Rangeman. It’s amazing. 👊🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸 and I’ve worked with the British while deployed. Exceptional fighters.

I just bought this watch and it looks so COOL !!! IT IS A LITTLE BULKY AND IT LOOKS GREAT ON A LARGE WRIST !

I’ve got mine yesterday!! It s just amazing. Very very nice product. Good material like Carbon strap, ceramic case... Very intuitive with the app... Tides graph is excellent, many spot in the World are recensed. Just négative point for me, they are no decimal (1/10, 1/100) in chronometer fonction.

It's funny.. Used to be Casio watches were sort of looked down on as cheap, albeit functional. Now, they're cool as f*^k.

Dang! And I just bought a new older model green rangeman in December. Now they came out with a new model! TYPICAL. I should have waited!

Good now I can finally go very far in the Mountain relying simply on my Watch and wearing my Road Cycling gear.

No heavy breathing...no snow on eyelids in such snowy mountain...nice vfx

Does anyone knows if its possible to track someone with this watch? I mean, if someone wearing it and get involved on a plane crash for example, its possible to track the user (with the GPS on)? Like a Breitling Emergency (aware that Breitling uses radio waves).

The one in Extraction is the GW-9400 Rangeman, kinda it's "smaller brother" so to speak; lacks the GPS/Maps/Backtrack feature, but it's an awesome watch nonetheless

We provide you with a "fast charger"...takes "5 hours" to recharge that little watch battery to 100% LOL.

Well, base on their website, the battery can stand for approximately 1.4 years w/ no GPS on, and about 33 hours w/ GPS on... Impressive i would say

I find the Mudmaster kind of big, it's not as versatile on the day to day as say my original rangeman, I'll keep it though as it's my first G shock. Weird you find the Rangeman chunky, I put my Rangeman on this afternoon and it felt like shaking hands with a good friend or putting on a favorite jumper after wearing my SKX-007 all week to dinners. I wear it most days. lol.. everyone's different I guess. This new Rangeman looks pretty bulky.. unless you work in the marines, Police or Maritime support that kind of thing its features one would assume are almost completely wasted on you. You'd almost be better off paying half the price or more than I should say, and getting a Mudmaster and going out to dinner a few times with the wife. It's funny though the more watches you own or have owned the closer you start to look at the important things and less about the size.. I'm excited they are pushing the focus on technology though, I still support Casio they're a strong company.

Can the routes be auto uploaded to strava? Currently run with a suunto watch, the movescount to strava link isn’t terribly reliable, this could be the answer...

I use baby G. Fast forward it turns to Man, Rangeman. Bond, James Bond. King, King Kong

The sun is out, I think if it was cold he would put a hat on:) Do you believe we used CGI haha. The budget did not go that far. I've worked in Antarctica in -20 degrees celsius for most of the day with no hat on and only a T-shirt on because the sun was out and it was calm:)

I wanted this watch so badly in 2019, but it was difficult to find. And ultra expensive. In the end I bought a Fenix 6X and I was more than happy with it. Sometimes I still feel the longings for the Rangeman though.

Hey i just get gpr b1000 its work but when i set up tide and moon its show up on map app the red dot and when I press on it I didn’t get any information and when i press on the button for set up tide and moon in watch the app just lost connection and when I choose tide and moon says that set on app any help ?? I just had the watch 3 days ago and the important thing for me to use the tide option because of my work
