I've worn this watch through countless military selections and exercises. All I had was a couple small scratches on the glass, barely noticable. Still going strong!

Thanks for your service ! My son is almost ready I guess it’s a cpl months away from graduation for the US Army! I gave him my favorite g-shock so I’m replacing it with the gg100 grey and black version sorry can’t recall the exact model lol

Love the review, love the watch and I’m glad I got the 100 as it has everything the 1000 has but cost less obviously. Truth is, I was never going to get used to that connect button digging into my hand, it hurts. All you gotta do is slide the watch up your arm a half inch and it does not slide down. It stays right in place and you are set

I was on the fence on this until this vid. Thanks. Also, I'm a lefty, so I usually place my watch on the right, so no button issues typically for me. Great review.

Thx. I love it. Only thing once and awhile I tighten screws on face. Wear it daily and no issues at all

I've always liked g shock worked great over there, always to the beatings it was given in stride. This is good looking, I love the size and instruments it has. Awesome bro!

nice i got the same watch as a Gift for Easter from my Mum. ill cherish it dearly as she knows im out dirtbiking or out in the woods' so it should come in handy.

I have the ggb100 and it's the first gshock with a figure 8 calibration and I have always used the world time set to UTC because I never understood why you would follow your own shadow around and keep hometime the same as world time. Except when I calibrated the compass daily after doing the altimetric calibration and differential clearances of record. I've discovered calibrating the compass should be done with the world time set to home time or it will throw it off dramatically. Next time you go to calibrate your gshock with a compass. BEFORE switching to UTC. Calibrate it at hometime/worldtime AND THEN set the world time back to UTC. I honestly am not sure if that is just my O.C.D. kicking in but it seems to be way more accurate. Especially considering this watch is 360 degree bearing measurements from a figure 8 calibration.

@@ToddTheGunGuy There's a possible way to accurately calibrate the compass in (UTC) world time mode but you have to customize the timekeeping mode screen as it shows in the manual. You just activate the other 4 displays and rearrange them so as that they are in the correct order.(as the way it is shown in the manual. Is the correct order)

Is a benefit of not having a Crown in a G-Shock Is you can make adjustments while its raining,muddy,wet and Not have to worry about things going inside your watch

To let bluetooth button from pressing when on ur wrist, let the buckle little bit loose, thats how u should wear a watch… it has to be loose on ur wrist..

Only the new ones have GPS. There is two models but the one I have doesn’t.

Lost all confidence in this GG-B100 watch as hour, minute & seconds hands stopped working 1 month after purchase. And it's not the battery, it's a module failure. I've never had a watch fail like this, and I bought this thing for durability and reliability. Glad I wasn't hiking in the woods! Happy with my GST-B100 solar though, I'll keep that one.
