That tilt function is really helpful, just tried it on my GX56.

Tap the crystal. A genuine Gshock crystal will have a low thud sound, almost not there (mineral crystal). A fake probably has a plastic crystal and will have a noticeable higher-pitched tapping noise. That is a very clear indicator hat you have a fake GShock.

also the buckle holes for the real watch is tapered. It has a little extra cut out at the entrance of the holes. This example is pretty sloppy tbh but as I said It probably gonna cost more than a real deal if they wanna make the fake accurate. So blatant copies to be expected. Could tell pretty quick if you are familiar with these g shock. On luxury watches where there's a lot of profit margin tho gotta be careful.

Thanks for the review I think I got a fake GD-X6930E because it had plastic film on the battery case and the glass and it had a timer that didn’t reset to how many minutes or hours I put on it and it didn’t beep when it went to zero it would count down to 24hours after that I think I got hosed out of $47 on that deal

For the G shocks, if they wanna make one that would remotely assemble the texture and feel of a real piece the cost of the fake might already exceed the real piece.... I just picked one up myself today and just by looking I know its not fake. If you ever owned one of these frogmans you'll know there's a special reflection on the glass and overall texture to them. No really fakeable. I can immediately tell the right one is fake by the reflection of the DLC coating. so coarse compared to the real one.

The fake one is not a good imitation of the original product. The copy ori AAA is really the same as the original one. All almost the same, including the finishes, button colours, shells, screw caseback etc. And it costs very much also

wow.. the fakes have advanced in making, they look so real. I dont condone fakes but my gosh i just look at the prices of the real ones, theyre ranging from $500 to $1500..that is just crazy..how can people afford these? no wonder why people would buy fakes. Casio is so rich, they should lower their prices, so that people can afford and the fakes will have no chance.
