The new model is not a survival watch it’s more of a hybrid smartwatch. I personally love it for an everyday watch it is tough enough to handle anything . The gen 2 Rangeman is your the power goes out tomorrow watch
had the gpr-1000 and modded perfectly just two words “perfect beast”
The B 1000 looks so good , much better than the h1000

The GPR B1000 was the best blueprint for what a survival watch should be. Casio missed the mark with the new H1000. It is just another sports watch with an over saturated market. RIP Rangeman

@@stevenkopko5943 Belive it or not! I have a B1000 and got another one with heartrate monitor to optimize training. So I wanted to sell the B1000.(One offered me even a realy nice summ). I could not sell it thats how much I like that watch!

No, they don't. It's a GBD not GPR.
What do you expect when one watch cost $400.00 and the other $1500.00 little lopsided I would say! I will stick with my H1000 and save the money!

That's the point, which one is better for the price
Led monitors don’t work ever because the connection to your wrist sucks and is not consistent at all these are gimmicks don’t use tjem or trust them only strapped HRM are decent enough to use reliably certainly not g shock as they tend to slide all over the wrist given their size and bulk. They aren’t compatible w peripheral HRm and thus a total waste of time
