이 분들이 어떻게보면 KPOP 리액션 1세대들인데 ㅋㅋ 지금은 과장된 썸네일에 과장된 리액션으로 돈벌이용 채널들이 많아졌는데 이 분들은 진짜 순수한 호기심으로 KPOP에 접근하는 느낌이 있었음

My cousin recently lost his father and soon his mother followed after. This song was played on his mothers slide show. I recently lost my father in 2021 and I can't bare to lose my mother in front of me. I'm not ready to go through another loss of a parent it hurt so much especially when they leave you early.

It has been almost 20 years, yet still tears in my eyes.....

My interpretation is that the boat scene is actually when he is old and has died. But he is in his younger form and he has finally left all material things hence him dropping the harmonica and traveling on the river Styx into the after life. I think it is so because in the vid it shows that he is older but still have the harmonica and the boat scene he is young again like when his mother passed away.

It’s my favorate song. I was high school student time often hear that song with carsettape walkman.

I'm just sad that English lyrics cannot fully express the real feelings of the song. Especially, the specific noodles that he was eating symbolized an elegant food during that time, reminding people who lived around 1990s more sad and nostalgic sentiments

Jjajangmyun wasn't an elegant food, but it was everybody-can-eat type of food. But some living below the perverty line or near that or cash strapped most of times in their lives couldn't even have that cause they needed to economize for bigger purposes. ^^

What 'Justin Ji' and IZU' wrote is right. Despite Jjajang-myeon is treated as cheap food these days, it was regarded as expensive food in Korea between 60-70s. That's why mom in the video refused to eat that food; in order to feed her child on delicious food more. You do not need to care about others' malicious comment.
