I like how you were still able to capture Scott's big nose in 8 bit form

Dunno how an equally sized single black dot is somehow a big nose but ok lol you tried at least. It would be a little more funny if the 8 bit model actually had a big nose :P

@@JTheraos ? Tim's nose is a dot but Scott's is clearly larger and has a defined shape in the 8 bit form
@JTheraos

@@ochinchin6637 it's in your head if you are seeing a defined shape to his nose... it is compris ed d of literally ONE pixel. You dont get cqnt smaller than 1 pixel. You cant have any defined shape other than a single dot from the single pixel. There are no different colored pixels making up his nose for you to be able to tell any shapes at all. It's just solid skin color with no lines. I get that it's fun to make fun of Scott's nose, but there isnt a nose to speak of here. Your brain imagining a bigger nose on him is you just really wanting him to have a big nose like irl.
harmonics being at the same volume as normal notes gives it such a diff vibe and i love it
Also i just noticed when he hits the 2 on the high e slightly after the downbeat, you added another note on the downbeat. It makes the syncopation in that part stand out more i think im going to use that when i play it on guitar now (Example at 0:26) Edit: I now add a muted swipe. Sounds kinda cool!
i listen to this entire playlist everyday during work and never get sick of it. my wife on the other hand, has had enough. but 8bit polyphia reigns supreme
Castelvania sounding instrumentals, but with that crisp Final Fantasy mix
Came here after the polyphia react these tracks are awesome they would be sweet in a indie game or something
Lavender town got lit
Props to you man! Keep them coming!!!!
This is amazing. Went through and listened to all of them, and subscribed!
Beginning sounds like Lavender town.
this is cool asf and i really like how the bass solo translated to 8 bit style good job man
Bro that's insane!!! Love your work ❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌
Broooo, Tim needs to react to these- Both this one and your Playing God cover. Best part is that I feel you've gotten even better since this video, because even though this one bangs, your Playing God cover still manages to sounds even cleaner.

The frequencies! ❤
fkin amazing you manage to give it a darker tone and it looked great
this is a banger dude
I swear some of Polyphia's songs were made for 8-bit. Nice work!
The tone is so good lmao
Ok just listening to this makes me wanna make a videogame and hire you to make the score

Wow, this is really awesome!! How do you learn this song? Do you learn to play it on a guitar first, or do you put the notes on the piano roll right away?
@kb3k
3 жыл бұрын
I basically pull the song into a software that lets me slow it down (Audacity), and then I use my ears to find the notes and match them to the piano roll. This is why I struggle with harmonies and chords sometimes. And sometimes the distortion makes it hard to discern notes so I'll grab them the tabs and learn it on my acoustic. That's what I did with the intro of OD
i fk with these
this is the song you would hear in a trailer for an 8bit game thats a horror/dongeon genre also can you put your music on spotify
Teen vampire boss theme
how am I liking this more then the original?
Fnf vibe
im playing them both over each other rn
I think a tool song would be cool in 8-bit
What synth did you use for the guitar part? It sounds rad.

Thanks dude! I use the default SimSynth from FL Studio 11 and distort it with a VST plugin called Hardcore.

@@bulletinmusic7411 I don't mean to start an argument but constructive criticism is ment to be something positive and negative. The positive thing also can't just be 'oh yeah it's good', you need to give actually useful comments. What you've said there is generally just negative, 'it sounds like your just using 'it sounds good' as an escape to not make your bad comment hit so hard.

@@kb3k I mean. I suppose there's a lot of ways you could describe it. Chiptune seems to be a nice catch-all term. Though I suppose someone more creative than me might be able to come up with something more acceptable. I guess retro-bit or nostalgia-bit could work, but to me they don't really have a nice ring to them.
