आजकल सीताफल का सीजन चल रहा है। उदयुपर जिले के गोगुन्दा, देवला व सायरा क्षेत्र के जंगलों में प्रचूर मात्रा में सीताफल है। यह शत प्रतिशत शुद्ध और जैविक फल है। जिन इलाकों में इनकी पैदावार नहीं होती है, उन इलाकों में इसकी खूब डिमाण्ड रहती है। आजकल आईसक्रीम बनाने वाली कम्पनियां भारी मात्रा में इस फल के पल्प को खरीदने लगी है। आदिवासी क्षेत्र में इस फल पर पहला अधिकार आदिवासी समुदाय का है। वे इस वनोपज को तोड़कर बेच सकते है।
विगत दो सालों में सीताफल से आदिवासी समाज के लोगों की आय बढ़ी है। एक ओर नया तरीका इजाद हुआ है। आजकल गोगुन्दा, देवला व सायरा के कुछ गांवों की आदिवासी महिलाएं पुराने तरीके से सीताफल तोड़ने की बजाए प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर के नए तरीके से सीताफल तोड़ रही है। अब सीताफल ठेकेदार के अलावा सीताफल प्रोसेस करने वाली कम्पनी के लोग भी सीताफल खरीदने आने लगे है। ठेकेदार जहां सीताफल को मण्ड़ियों में ले जाकर बेच रहे है वहीं सीताफल प्रोसेस करने वाली कम्पनी के लोग इसी क्षेत्र में सीताफल प्रोसेसिंग यूनिट में सीताफल का प्रोसेस कर रहे है। इस प्रोसेसिंग के काम में महिलाओं को रोजगार दिया जा रहा है। इससे 600 से अधिक परिवारों की आय में वृद्धि हुई है। सामान्यत सीताफल की सीजन में एक परिवार में 10 हजार रूपए की आय होती है, लेकिन सीताफल प्रोसेसिंग यूनिट में रोजगार मिलने से यह राशि दोगुना से भी अधिक हो गई है। अब इस विडियो में आप वो देखेंगे जो शायद आपने पहले कभी नहीं देखा होगा।
