Gumuldur, which turns orange in October and November, has a reputation beyond the provincial borders for its satsuma type tangerines. Satsuma, which has an important place in the economy based mainly on agriculture and animal husbandry, is grown on 12 thousand decares of land today, and a large part of the production, which amounts to 40 thousand tons per year, is exported.
