    Clarifications/Corrections: Avar/Rouran and Hun Empires are of uncertain origin, and even though most likely related to the ancestors of Turkic and/or Mongol people believe it is a tenuous stretch at best to call them a Turkic empire. The Tuoba might be the best argument for a Turkic empire preceding the GokTurks but again not confirmed and could be argued to be a regional kingdom and not an empire. I say Turkish Khaganate once in the video...Meant to say Turkic as I do in the rest of the video. When I say the Atlantic Ocean it should be the Pacific Ocean. GokTurks never got close to the Atlantic Ocean.

I'm a miniature wargamer and play using the Ottoman Turks Napoleonic era. I love to use my Crimean/Nogay Tatars who though lost the Crimean Peninsula but still fought in the Ottoman armies. I find using them along with certain units like artillery and Janissaries can be very deadly. I also like units from the Caucasus and love to read about the Nogays who settled there

    @Mimir Darko Changing alphabet isn't that easy and majority of world uses latin alphabet for many reasons such as it is extremely easy to learn and it is a common alphabet so it makes communicating with other nations a lot easier, all you need a dictionary while learning other alphabets is a struggle of it's own!! So Turkey will never change latin alphabet rather other Turkic countries are considering using latin as well rather than cyrillic...

    The early Turkic people (proto-Turks) originated in modern day Manchuria in northern China. They are a Mongoloid ethnic group and closely related to other Northeast Asians, such as Mongols, Koreans and Chinese. The proto-Turks are linked to the Xinglongwa culture along the Liao river in Manchuria. After the decline of thr Xinglongwa culture, the Turkic people adopted a nomadic lifestyle and started their migration to the West.

  • @austro-avar6145

    @austro-avar6145

    It does not change the fact of the origin of proto-Turkic. Of course we assimilated the other mentioned groups partially, but thenTurkic itself is grom Northeast Asia. Same as the Indo-European itself is from Yamnaya/Iran. They also assimilated most other European groups.

  • @austro-avar6145

    @austro-avar6145

    The main root of Turkic or proto-Turkic is linked to Northeast Asia, both genetically and linguistically. The other two groups may be influential but did not played majority importance. Mongoloid genome is found in every Turkic speaking group and these genome sequences are linked to Manchuria. Thus I speak about the proto-Turkic and not old-Turkic people. While old-Turkic was formed by the mentioned groups (the three groups you mentioned), proto-Turkic was solely from Northeast Asia and Mongoloid.

    Teo Man Sayings of different peoples about the Turks 1. A chicken is not a bird, a Turk is not a person (Ukrainian proverb) 2. If you want to conceive a child for a Turkish woman, finish her slippers, the flies will finish the job. (Folk proverb) 3. An uninvited guest is like a Turk (Russian proverb) 4. Turkey, the country of the small mind (Slavatian proverb) 5. Rather, a chicken will take off than a Turk will learn to love. (Arabic saying) 6. If you are dealing with a Turk, do not let go of your stick. (Armenian proverb) 7. If you want the Turk to obey you, hit him with a stick. (Armenian proverb) 8. The devil has many guises, the main of which is Turkic. (Assyrian proverb) 9, Where the Turk's foot has gone, the grass does not grow. (Bulgarian proverb) 10 If a Turk speaks of peace, then there will be war. (Greek saying) 11, Bad life, that neighborhood with a Turk. (Kurdish proverb) 12, People are building, the Turks are destroying. (Serbian proverb) 13 The rooster will not lay eggs, and the Turk will not become a man. (Romanian proverb) 14A jealous husband is like a Turk. (Kozma Prutkov) 15. The Turk is the harbinger of the devil. (Folk proverb) 16. Dirty shit. A good person will not be called a Turk. (Folk proverb) 17. Turks are the weeds of the universe. (Folk proverb) 18. Turks are terribly arrogant, nasty and just bad people (Folk proverb) 19. Turks stupid freaks. They insolently stick to the girls of other nations, sincerely considering them ALL prostitutes and just fools obsessed with sex ... I would just kill for this. Dirty, smelly goats... 20. Such as the Turkish-like “historian” who spoke here (so, by the way), that this country was built entirely on foreign blood, by foreign forces and foreign means. This nation of pigs “gave” only chaos to the world and could only create such an “invention” as genocide. And a historian who denies this fact is simply stuffed with Turkish shit, which no one except them calls history. If you like it, eat it, but don't pretend to be objective. And as for the “strongest”, yes, you are really strong only when you fight with women, with children or the elderly. In front of real power, you always scamper like hares. And what are these countries that, thanks to the Ottoman Empire, are in the top twenty? I have met many from those countries that were once part of this empire, from Morocco to Iraq, and I have not heard that they were very grateful. Well, except maybe your bedding like Albanians or Bosniaks.

    @Emre Go read about the History of Kingdom of Khotan in Tarim Basin(eastern turkistan)..It was established by Mauryans in 300 BC.. Also Dude a lot of Indian history is distorted on wikipedia..Mongols were defeated in Aurangzebs time..they hardly ruled for 100 years..and during those times too many Hindu kings defeated them..

    @Emre Also Mamluk turks who started ruling from India from 1206 AD..were defeated and vassalized by Hindu kings during 1230s and 1240s.. Though you dont find this on wikipedia coz its run by islamic propagandists.. Also During 1336 AD Mohammad bin Tughlaq was defeated by Indian kings and his recently formed empire was crushed by Hindus..you can find that on wikipedia..they admit that atleast.. After this defeat in 1336 AD of Turks.. Till the arrival of Babur in 1526 AD..Hindus were the dominant power in north India..as Babur also talks about in his autobiography ...

    Asian Hun Nation(or perhaps Xiongnu as you might know) is THE first Turkic Empire. Göktürk is the first time the name:Türk(which you might know as Turk) was used in the nation title. Huns are ancestors of Turks.

    As a Chinese( I'm a Persian-Han mixed blood Chinese) I know Turkic was our neighbor The land north to China is big but poor, no Agriculture at all, so their population is small, but people there are good at fight Chinese always hire them to China's civil wars, some time Chinese fight against them, some time they help Chinese fight with other barbarians they like iron pots and tea, in exchange, they give Chinese their horse and cheese Then 1300 years ago, half of them joined China(u know there are always some guys join in China), and half of them went to west It's different from what many people think, actually ,they and local Chinese don't have any concept of 'state' or 'race' They just living on their own land, do business as they can As I said, north China is really a large and poor land now u can visit the poor place by yourself, every winter, it's -30°C and coldder than Russia,lack of water,lack of every thing but sand and grass. Maybe you look at the map and find now the country of Mongolia is very big, but actually all population in that country is smaller than a normal city of South China(and the GDP is even smaller)
