Gooty Fort :- Gooty Fort is located in the Gooty town of Andhra Pradesh, which is about 5 kilometers from the Gooty Railway Station. This fort is one of the few ancient forts in Andhra Pradesh, which is witness to many battles fought by King Krishnadeva of the Vijayanagara kingdom. Many people ruled here from Rai to the British, in which the Nizam of Hyderabad, Mughal, Maratha and British, the king of Golconda, ruled here respectively. Due to continuous wars, this fort is seen in ruins today. This fort situated on a high hill was once Ajmer was a fort which used to have nine entrances, there were more than 1 dozen forts inside the fort, many palaces, stepwells, ponds, wells, this fort used to be very beautiful.
