I got mine in and did a size comparison and they are shorter, but I realized that it's because they're based on older figure bucks. If you compare them to the newest figures, they're shorter. When you compare them to the older figures, like Flint, and Beachhead, they're the same height. It would seem that the Classified figures moving forward have just gotten taller and we haven't really realized that. :)

"Steel Brigade" was NOT Hasbro's any more than a used Kleenex you threw in a dumpster 10 years ago is still yours now. They didn't want the name, they had no faith in its value, and Vala rightly and legally bought the trademark and created a figure that's far better and more modern than these repainted figures from years ago with a fresh coat of paint.

Also Steel Corps is what Steel Brigade was called in the UK.

Who cares about the pins? As long as they color match the pieces they are holding together, it makes no difference at all. They're toys, not Real Dolls TM.

You'd be surprised how many care about the pins. I agree, if they're the same color as the plastic they're pinning together, it shouldn't matter, but some actually make a big deal about it. Also there is something to be said about the more modern (current) figs being pinless so it may be a matter of consistency with some collectors. Since I review these figs, for the sake of thoroughness, I have to mention it.
