What i seen from other comments, the theory is the guy was serial killer who killed is ex. Miyeon was near the pool and she died by drowning. Soyeon dies from stangulation. Yuqi died by getting pushed down the stairs. Shuhua died from car accident, look like reflection of fire in scene. Minnie is the only one to survive and took revenge on the guy. On the boot you see them cheering and next you she by herself. Plus she originaly only one going to shoot, but you had glimpse of other member with guns. They where their in spirit to break the cycle to get what he deserve lol. Such a banger of a song, i love Miyeon parts of the MV.

great interpretation, but i still wonder the 1st shot was Yuqi but it became Minnie in the last scene like waking up from a dream or something

The acting is awesome. Miyeon’s vocals just stoopid. My fave song on the album are I do and tall trees

THEORY TIME: at the end of the video Miyeon, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua are all dead (killed). Miyeon gets drowned in the pool. Soyeon gets choked against the wall. Yuqi gets pushed down the stairs. Shuhua gets killed in the car. The clue is, during the last seconds of the MV, they all appear on those places with flowers, common in cemeteries. The only one without flowers is Minnie, the survivor, who gets revenge by killing the abuser and sailing on a boat to find peace.

It's a good theory, but it's inaccurate. I'll try to nutshell it as I tend to go on and on. From what we actually see in the video, Yuqi didn't die getting pushed down the stairs and Soyeon didn't die by strangulation (that we know of). At 2:38 in the video, you see quick clips of each member alive then a quick clip of their spirit. Yuqi didn't get pushed down the stairs. Yuqi tried to leave a few times. Once he grabbed her arm and wouldn't let her leave. Another time she was already down the stairs (he was still at the top of the stairs), when she was leaving him. At 2:38, you see each member's last moments, Yuqi on the sofa during his rage, then Yuqi on the boat at peace. Next is Soyeon on the bed during her last moment, then Soyeon on the boat at peace; then Miyeon by the pool (she did drown) then Miyeon on the boat at peace, Shuhua in the car (wasn't a car crash) then Shuhua on the boat at peace. At 2:27, Minnie enters his workplace with a bomb in a bag which is on a timer (10 seconds left) and a gun. She drops the bomb in favor of shooting him (which all the members took part in with her). You see the bomb explode just after Minnie shoots him (as she's smiling, she was able to kill him without using the bomb on him and herself too). At 2:48, you see the bomb has gone off and she lives through it. (At 2::50, you see each member performing cleansing rituals, during his death, and at 3:03, all the members are leaving just after the place is destroyed). The book "C'est La Vie" is seen twice, both at the very beginning and at the very end of the video. At the intro of the video, Yuqi is beginning to read the story of "Cest La Vie", which is the story of a woman who goes off to Paris after her husband dies. In the book, her husband dies of natural causes (cancer). She moves to Paris to start her new life. This video is (G)I-DLE's version of "C'est La Vie" tho, and is a different story - the original book is a light-hearted story, but this video has a very serious message. I'm assuming Minnie is sailing on a boat to Paris since that's where the book takes us. Remember, C'est La Vie is "the art of letting go", and the members were able to "heal" (for lack of a better term) in the end.

@@coolandtrending but the only one sailing to Paris is Minnie. It appears that, while on the boat, Minnie has allucinations with them, which supports my theory. Also, you shouldnt take what the MV shows literally. You can't show a murder in a MV hahahahah they had to find a creative way to show a killer who abuses and kills his gfs. I think my theory and the things you said about the book can go together

@@yetanotherYTuser2 - I don't think they can go together, as yours is inaccurate (don't take offense please!). And Nicha isn't hallucinating them. The girls were with her in spirit. Can't show murder? They showed his murder plain as day. Anyway, 2:38 to 2:40 they show each girl last alive and then their spirit. A lot of that theory is just plain wrong tho (no offense), the only time Yuqi is on the stairs is when she's leaving him. He's nowhere near her. It takes a huge mind jump for her to be murdered on the stairs. And with Shuhua, there's no car accident, as we see the car in tact, every time. The video shows at 2:38 the girls last moments alive and then shows each one's spirit.
