fyi GD collaborated with Dony in the korean show and they have to compete with other artist by performing a song. They release a song called "Going To Try" theres a performance video for it too. Because of that variety show they even win "best couple awards".

The song you asked about is called "Going To Try" by GD and Doni. GD was a guest on the show Infinite Challenge and he and Doni were on the same team and had to make a song and preform it. They didn't stop using that hammer because it was bad, it's a common thing in shows from Korea, it's just a toy, it makes a loud noise but it doesn't hurt much. Love your reaction and I will wait for the rest of the episode.

Yea lot of idols that goes there knew what they are up to and some of them even wanted to experience the hammer.

There was this an award for "best couple" from MBC (the parent tv station of this show) thats given to virtual couples that really caught public's attention in period of a year. Doni and GD won that, eventho they were other couples who were actually in a virtual "dating/marrige show" called We Got Married meanwhile GDxDoni were only in a variety show called Infinity Challenge. These bros were really popular and thats why GD was "forced" to come to this show , only for doni and the fans.

Your reaction 🤣🤣🤣 YG have always made their artist exclusive. Reality programa like this was so rare, especially with GD, we were BLOWN! Is GD funny? I don't know. But the way Doni and Coni went out their way, these interactions created so many other related platforms.

Going To Try is the song both of them created for a very famous festival in Korea. Their hilarious perfomance is available on youtube. It's a pretty cool song, it has gospel singing, non sense, funny lyrics and very lit rap lines. They even won best couple award because of it. That's way all these couple jokes on the tv show.

I know its Cringy but every idol is being shipped and GD is no exception especially that he has many FANBOY🤣. He had a Cute love hate Relationship with Doni Hyung when they were paired in infinite Challenge, the clips were hilarous. He is one of Infinite challenge PD's favorite. He guested on that show several times if he finds time. Korea loves GD. He is unmatched among idols. Every show wants a GD appearance. Sadly there's been a trend the past year of hating on these hosts for being "problematic and mean". Fans literally crying over their idols being teased, or suffering brain damage from a plastic toy hammer. These guys are funny and make the show entertaining, the idols get the concept and know what their in for. Yes I wholeheartedly agree with this comment. Honestly, most people complaining are foreign fans who don´t understand Korean comedy at all. I wish people would educate themselves about the culture their faves come from. This type of teasing and joking is at the heart of Korean variety and the idols know what they are getting themselves in for when they appear on the show. I am Russian and our comedy is like this as well sometimes so it has always felt normal to me.

A popular and long running show called Infinity Challenge use to hold collaboration concerta and popular singers were paired up with the show's regular members. GD was on the show 3 times...with the last time having Taeyang with him and they pair up with Kwang Hee. The year prior to that one, GD chose Doni as his partner. Those two were so funny together, that they were nominated in an awards show as 'Best Couple' -- And they won! lol. Doni thought he was going to have to collect the award alone, but GD found a way to make it to the show and surprised Doni, while Doni was on stage doing the acceptance speech.

Not trying to be mean, but Gd is shipped with everyone, not just Dara. He’s shipped with Cl, IU, and even Seungri💀. I lowkey kinda ship nyongtory (GD and Seungri🥴🤣), but even I believe its better that they don’t react to ships because of the toxic drama and shipwars. They are here to react to the music. So let them just react and enjoy their music, variety shows, etc. Not their personal life.
