Oh man! My 1st car was an 80 Regal. Spent all extra money & time on that car. This is a dream...
I love the back and forth banter between these two 😅

How many cars you own for 30 years? This car is in awesome shape and probably worth $50,000 the way it sits, I think he took very good care of this car.

Well first comment on any of your videos. I've watched these guys wrench for the longest time and really like the buick build as I have a 85 regal that use to be my fathers back in the day. Love it. And to see you head out and assist others in their own driveway is a interesting bit. Overall though seems like something that gentleman is capable of doing as its only regular maintenance. Just laziness in my opinion. Regardless cool to see you guys out and doing this! Don't see that often at all on other channels. Especially from gentleman like you two. Thanks for the great entertainment:)
I think this has been one of my favorite projects to watch.
That's awesome what yall did for this guy. You guys are truly godsend and the show is awesome to watch. Wish yall had a video of changing a gas tank and lines for a 83 chevy Scottsdale.

Love that paint job. I had an 82 Buick regal. It was that seafoam green color . It was nice car bought it used with 52 thou on it. Ran like a champ that was back in the 90s.

This build is like a dream build for me. I use to have a 1984 Buick Regal. I dolled it up with a GNX fender flares, GN rear deck and spoiler and GN hood. My ride was all show no go with the stock carbureted V6. Wish I had the cash and knowledge to build it the way you guys set this up. I read an article about a Grey Regal that had upgraded rims 15x8 all around with a -10 offset. 235R60 BFGiodrich
Love the rims on that Chevelle. They suit it perfectly.
The amount of time, money and energy put into that turd is just unbelievable.
Car looks great. Paint looks great. Holes in the bumpers are cheese...
Tommy, you have a great sense of humor.
Budget flat black the beater. In the drive way!!!!! I know it deserves better but this is the coolest story I’ve seen from you guys.
I love the progress on the Regal. I disagree with all the naysayers. The man actually enjoys this classic Chevelle and drives it every day instead of pouring his life savings into it and treating it like a princess. More power to ya.
That Regal is the first to ever make me feel car envy...daaaang!
i love this regal, my mom had a blue one when i was a kid
This is my favorite build.

FINALLY ❤️❤️
Those window guides need the felt on them. They gonna rattle like crazy.
Dang! Really makes me wish I'd a kept at least one of these... Back in HS, in the mid-late 90s, I must have bought and sold 30 of these and other G bodies. Rather than get a lame job that paid squat, I took some doin yard work money and started hittin the tow yard auctions with my uncle. I had a pair of 78 Cutlasses and being I knew them pretty well, I went after all the G bodies I could find. With a family of bodymen, painters, and mechanics, I'd already started pickin up the car repair thing, so it wasn't too big of a deal to swap drivetrains around, and fix crash damage. Made great money for a HS kid and even better, I made probably ten times as much, selling the leftover parts once I discovered Ebay. At least I still have the one 78 that was my first car. Now I'm thinkin the Astro roof Cutlass may need a Regal friend with T tops.
Straight ammonia is good for softening tint glue as well... spray it on and put some plastic over it and let it soak for a bit then scrape it off ...there are products specifically made for this process but ammonia is crazy cheap compared to those ... Dollar stores sell it for a buck a half gallon
Have you guys used that pedal programer?
@powernation what brand makes those fender to core support bolts.
might be 1 of the best episodes ever.?🤔
Looks good,
18:09 that window Crank handle is the same like the ones mi '77 oldsmobile has 👍

Break cleaner works great for removing tint glue.
Love it
What’s funny is my dad caught me cleaning the chrome wheels on his truck with some steel wool and he freaked until he saw how great the wheels looked and was all scratch free. I was probably 12 at the time.

I had your cars father. A 1978 buick regal turbo. 3.8 liter turbo with a 4 bbl carb. It looked faster than it was but was a nice car. If I remember correctly the options the original owner got for the car cost about 8 thousand dollars and the base price was around 10 thousand. Unfortunately it was the smaller cast 3.8 liter so it ate head gaskets like crazy.
Where's the show where they paint it
nice classic rig! but about them holes in the bumper small Baja lights Maybe? LOL
I want that paint code they sprayed on the Buick. That’s the exact color I want on my MR2T
I think their best build is the split bumper camaro. What an awesome car they built. That's my favorite.
I dig it so far, but I would have went with a soft white paint and a 3 piece wheel similar to the GNX wheels with black center and a body color matched lip. Then some nice tan interior. I'm also still not onboard with the bumper holes. Detroit Muscle and Engine Power are the best of all the Power Nation shows.
Where do you buy your fender flares
Where are the other videos on this build
I could never let somebody come to my driveway and work on my car. I've done everything myself. Body work, engine out to change oil pump and pan gasket, built a dual exhaust from scrap pipes from wrecked cars, window tint, interior work, steering and suspension rebuild, heck, there's not much on this thing I haven't touched. Except the things I can't afford to do yet. The only thing I didn't do was mount and balance the tires. And I'd do that myself too if I had the equipment
That Distributor looked like the Centrifugal Advance needed some TLC
It's sure that Chevelle needs a lot of love
Guys where did you guys pick-up that grill. I like it better than the stock grill on my Grand National.
What glass cleaner is that? Works wonders. Every glass cleaner I’ve used in my car just leaves streaks that are hidden until it gets cold enough and they appear
Love the Regal dash would looke good if they add a Gn cluster or dakota digital gauges
The Regal is my favorite project in a long time. NBCSN needs to air these episodes on Saturday and Sunday mornings instead of 12:30 am. SMH. Glad I can find it on KZread. Dude with the Chevelle should be driving a POS Camry instead of an American classic.
What is the paint code on that red ?
The wheels are the only thing that are not really matching. Everything else, great job guys 👍
Wow whats the color of paint and paint code

@Jack Wells no. That was that Marquis they built. However that really should a Lincoln or a Cadillac for a proper mafia staff car.
Sooooooooooo much better to use compound and polish with an orbital buffer to clean up that glass. It will also take out some light scratches. I do this on my vehicles every so often. Helps the wiper blades be more effective and last longer too.
"don't have to wash it or wax it everyday". That Chevelle hasn't seen wax in a few days.
Looks way better than it would have if it had been painted Black
Man... I want a Chevelle so bad, that's my dream car. One day I'll have one... if by the time I can afford it there's still any on the road. Honestly, it's so sad to see classic cars like this one being neglected.
Always feel bad for the chevy boys with the distributor in the back.. What a PITA

Don't get me wrong, car is freaking mint. I still think they should have kept the 6cyl with the turbo.
Don't let that car fall to shit again, Brian!
And then we have to "seal it" voice is motortrends new guy💯➕♎
Nice Chevelle! Kind of sad it has changed over the yrs.
I hope that dude does fix it up a little more. But he wouldn't have had to if he didn't neglect it in the first place. Nice ride though I'd leave the Patina that's awsome.
Man that maroon GNX clone look is spot on. Only thing I think would be better would be if the face of the wheels were black like the GNX wheels were. I am so glad this is a hard top but everyone knows a Buick G body has to have a turbo so please add a S476 and turbo cam to that LS3.

There really is something special with the G-Body. Especially the Buick. I think the 1987 Regal is the most beautiful car built since 1975 that isn't some super exotic. As for the condition of that Chevelle, that guy should be ashamed.
Thank god I found this video, I'm workin on an 81camaro, and I wanted to replace all the window seals and check the glass, now I know how to
As much as I like how the car came out, that front bumper doesn't work for me. It looks like a piece of finish trim fell off.
BRICK...😂😂
wow 6 bloody months to get a car done. damn id like a job like that.
I need a tune-up on my 350 engine
