Sir 1 acore me kam se kam 12 troli gobar ki khad dalni padegi sir. Guj me 16 gutha ka ak bigha hota hai

from 1 ton gobar or dung how many kg or ton vermicompost has been made?

Can i use sawdust as organic carbon source and mix in soil? If yes then what quantity per acre? We trim fruits plant every year so we get branch wood generally farmer burn that. Edit 1: by the way I had enquired about the wood shredding machine with 15 hp motor, was told it costs 1.5 lakh ₹ is it worth to buy that if sawdust can be stored n used in some quantity every year as an organic matter since it incorporates cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin etc.

Sawdust has high C:N ratio, after incorporation into soil microorganisms will start to act upon it to decompose all that carbon which will require nitrogen. In absence of additional nitrogen they will drawdown nitrogen available in the soil, if plants are growing in vicinity or have to be grown will suffer from Nitrogen deficiency(stunted & chlorotic growth), to some extent phosphorous and micronutrient deficiency too. There's also possibility of termite infestation. Additionally sawdust from some sources might contain high amounts of phenols and terpenes which can lead to phytotoxicity in plants. It is always recommended to apply carbonic manures when fully decomposed.
