    I went ahead and purchased another Casio( this one) to upgrade from the Casio 9750Gii. I don’t understand why people would spend $140 dollars for a new TI-84CE when this Casio is just as capable for a significant $100 dollars less. You are literally paying $100 more for the TI to have a color screen. And in math, that is nice but not essential. The Casio is a winner. I

    is there a way to simplify radicals to decimal answers on this calculator

    Yes - you can enter them in the Run-Matrix mode as radicals. The answer will be returned in standard form (if that is the setting) and you can toggle, using the S=>D button to the decimal equivalent.
