In the areas where you marked as fair value, price sometimes go to those areas and react lower to take out the liquidity in form of the intermediate term positions it just created. So the long and short is, price can still trade into areas of faur value and not take out the opposing liquidity at the intermediate term positions.

Arjo please can you help me out here Two opposing fvgs on daily and 4h TIME FRAME going down a lower time frame for confirmation and I see 4h fvg being respected with new 15m fvg does it make the daily fvg likely to fail? Secondly when an fvg is disrespected but the last line of defense and even an OB is this intact meaning price didn't break and close above the OB, is the fvg really invalidated?

So for example the 4h FVG -> 5m FVG + another FVG If you train that very well then you will definitely get a lot better. The video can be a bit difficult to understand at first, but give it time. It's actually my main trading strategy that I personally use. Keep me updated on your progress!

For Gold focus on the 2am to 10am rule, same for BTC. I don’t use killzones for BTC since I only really swingtrade it (1h and above entries)

Hi! Yup, I would, though indices are quite volatile at 9:30 equities open even without having any red news event on the same day. Otherwise, the rules regarding the economic calendar remain the same. :)

Ideally yes, it's similar to the indices but the volatility dies down a little bit earlier. Highest volatility is from 930 until 1300

Arjo real question. I believe you trade through the ways of having mastered the concept of using FVG's. I have mastered the markets through demand orderflow and supply Orderflow. But what is it that truly moves the market? Your way, my way etc?

I LOVE this question and I believe the market works however you want it to work, meaning: I believe in FVGs etc, but I also know this might not be the definite truth, but I have trained my eyes and mind to believe that it works through this. People are profitable with support and resistance, because they got used to it and they believe that that's how the market operates. Find your believe and that's what will work for you, at the end of the day the rational explanation is just to make us comfortable about what we're doing. Hence why SMC/ICT blew up, because it makes sense to a lot of people. But is the definite truth of how the market moves? Who knows, it might be, it might not be. As long as you believe something it will work for you. If you were to ask me this during a livestream I would be ranting for the next 2 hours, I love these type of questions.

Hello Arjo, I’m so confused I just hope this doesn’t come out as stupid but, I was under the impression that the 3 news event should not be traded before those news events, even though we have the other types of news events before one of the big 3. Meaning the unemployment, ppi etc. please help me clearify

To trade in general you must have news supporting the idea. If your entries are below the H1 then I also recommend sticking to the session windows, you're going to need that extra volatility boost, otherwise, it's fine just having news in the day. :)

Hi! News is the main volatility driver for the markets, without them you would be more so trading consolidations, but if you're good at range trading, you can try at your own discretion :)

Failing challenges is a part of the process. Next challenge you will go in with a lot more experience and knowledge. There’s positive learning experiences, and I’m sure you learned a lot. In the meantime try decreasing your risk to the least amount possible and slowly climb out of drawdown or until you can afford a new challenge again. You got this, don’t give up my friend❤

Arjo, thank you very much for your videos but please explain something I don't understand. How do you invalidate a FLOD (or a reversed FVG)? For example, in the example here you take a buy on an H4 zone but it's broken at M5. How do you know that it's still possible to buy up there? I hope I've made myself clear. Thank you very much.

That's a really good question and I like to see it like this: So in this 4h example and the 5m, we never got any confirmation before that and when we did I played out. So since the first rejection we're seeing off of that 4h FVG is an entry confirmation we can confidently say that it still wants to push higher. But if we already had a rejection off of that 4h FVG (for example a 5m ST failing) then that would be suspicious because the rejection is not following through the first time. In that case I would stop using it and wait for more confirmation. Hopefully this does makes sense, hard to explain without seeing the chart. But if the 5m ST failed before we had the new leg higher I would not look for confirmations anymore.

Good video and logic correction though the FOMC meeting minutes is not part of the big 3 it is a volatility injection but it is the Fed FOMC meeting, rate decision and following pressers is the big one March 20, May 1, June 12, aug 31 sept 18, Nov 7 and Dec 18 for 2024

You are correct, it's not an interest rate decision, but we all know how Powell can influence the market with a single word, so in this case, I also recommend avoiding/trading after the news release. :)
