Kristen Ingold no problem! Thank you for responding! I think it's kind of freaky that they actually talk in the egg. the ears poked through so it looked like it can break but it's a sharp thick plastic, what I would suggest is that you talk a bit more on the unboxing,

I've seen other videos on it and I could definitely see the difference, what I thought is that they already made a bootleg furby, then they saw a hatchimal... after that they were like "WE CAN PUT A TOY THAT MAKES NOISES IN A PLASTIC EGG AND ITS EARS WILL HATCH IT" hatchimals don't talk have ears or have arms, they have wings!

Hatchimals only say what you teach them so if your kid's hatchimal says "fuck me" then that's what your kid taught the hatchimal.

Recieved mine today. unfortunately it did arrive with a crack also. However, it is not singing/talking which I was affraid of. Overall It seems salvagable & still capable of hatching. So hopefully it will on Christmas morning. I cannot wait to watch your son hatch his!

DAT BOI yea I seen them at FYE too. I looked it up and I think anyone can sell at FYE. I love that store. It would have been better to buy from them just so you could look at it before paying. i still say Hatchimals is better. I think im going to buy a new Furby. They look so cool :)

It's kinda like a Hatchimal but it's mixed with 2012 furby. At the beginning when it's about to hatch it makes dinosaur sounds as opposed to the *real* hatchimals they make cute sounds.

Rose Skiori yes agree, but they have started packing them different bc of this issue. being shipped all the way from hong kong is a long trip to not have more packing :) :) hopefully they figure it all out. I have seen now they have a cover over the eggs. i should have waited just a bit longer lol :)

Angelina Ishmail I don't think they will. Last time I had a Furby type thing it wouldn't stop talking and didn't have an off switch. You just have to store it in a quiet room in a cabinet and let it sleep. It will shut up.

actually I think if its talking it might not hatch. I hope it hatches for you but I heard others say that when its talking like ours that it has already did its happy birthday song and is in "hatched" mode. Hi Kaitlyn. Yes, unfortunately the toy was shipped to me all the way from Hong Kong, I mean that is okay but its such a long trip they need to pack then way better. The ups guys toss boxes, drop them and no telling what else lol lol. I have noticed that now they are packed different. I guess tons of people had this problem. Best solution now is to buy them at FYE store, we have one in our mall and you can look at the egg before you buy it :)
