In 2023 alone, 14 stadiums with a minimum capacity of 10,000 seats opened there. Over ⅓ of this group can accommodate 50,000 fans or more! These statistics are all the more incredible given that they apply to just one country.

They originally named as host country for Asian Cup 2023 & Asian Games 2022.. unfortunately they still fight for Covid at that time.. so Asian Cup 2023 gave to Qatar to host in early 2024, while Asian Games is postponed to Sept 2023.. most of the stadium is originally build for that event (Asian Cup).. since it was Covid in China, some of construction for Asian Cup is stopped.. while Asian Games is already prepared for 4 years since 2018..

@@shlwedyou are just partially right. Yes sports washing is palpable, but they also have annual sport events like All China Games and several regional events like Asian Games, Universiad, etc, so it makes sense they build a lot of stadia
