Future of Interest Based Banking in Pakistan?
After implementation of Islamic banking what will happen to national saving products, prize bonds and commercial banks which are recently working on interest based system?
Govt of Pakistan has decided to take back its two application in supreme court against the verdict of Federal Shria court regarding imposition of Islamic banking in Pakistan.
The petition was filed by State of Pakistan and National bank of Pakistan in supreme court to dismiss the federal court verdict about Islamic banking implementation in Pakistan.
The federal Shria court gave its verdict in April 2022 in favour of Islamic banking in Pakistan and gave 5 years to federal and provincial Governments to make arrangement to implement Islamic banking.
What will be the future of prize bonds, national saving products and all other interest based saving accounts and certificates offered by conventional banks in Pakistan after the implementation of Islamic banking till 2027?
The banks will transform their branches into Islamic branches and will also introduce Islamic products like Islamic saving accounts, saving certificates and other halal profit products.
Prize bonds will also be introduced as Islamic prize bonds.
the investment received through prize bonds and other saving certificates will be invested by Govt in halal projects and the profit received here through will be shred with the customers.

iska matlab ye hua k NSC mai for example har month 1 lac pe 1000 profit milta hai tou jab islamic sharaiah lagy ga tou 1 lac pe har month different profit milne lagy ga like kabhi 900 kabhi 800 kabhi 1000 etc., es taraha work karega NSC ka system ?
Sir profit jo prize bonds par milta ha is par kitna tax kita ha

Even the in old system devaluation is more than profit more over banks went to loss and account holders suffered a lot even loss internationally but in Pakistan much more
