Even without his archie background, Espio is still one of the most noble of the cast. We may not know his history here beyond that he trained in the art of ninjitsu and takes his abilities very seriously. It’s a wonder why he puts up with Vector’s bluster or Charmy’s naievety, yet he does and genuinely enjoys their company. Character depth at its finest, and simplest.

The Chaotix are very much a Freudian trio. Charmy's the id, Vector's the ego, and Espio is the superego. Charmy's childish, Espio's mature, and Vector is the middle ground.

This is too precious! We so needed this kind of closure for Silver! Even if the future isn't in any danger, he still has the right to be with his friends and be wherever or whenever he feels his heart truly lies. If Silver feels that the time he belongs in best is where all his loved ones are and where he's found a place to belong rather than the future even after he's accomplished his goal of ensuring peace, then he should be free to be there. Besides, just because the future is safe (for now at least), that doesn't mean he has no excuse to visit his friends in the past. I don't think anyone would complain about him making a home for himself in the past with everyone. He may be from the future, but it's pretty clear where he truly feels most at home. Sorry, I'm just a huge Silver fan and am so happy to see him start to figure out the next step of his life! Silver's actually my favorite Sonic character, so I'm so stupidly happy to see such good development for him! This may also mean that we'll be seeing more of Silver without the threat of a dystopia future looming over his presence! That makes me so happy!

I just love this character interaction we don't get in the games. This one in particular just made me so happy. Thanks for making this awesome dub!

We need a petition to where Silver stays with Sonic and the others in their timeline instead of his own

It was great to see Espio and Silver's speech together, Espio is very wise and his speech had a very positive effect on Silver. Perfect Mini series

I love wholesome moments like this. It's great to see IDW aving characetrs interacting that normally don't in the games. Also the voice acting was so good! Well done!

Oh man, I didn't expect this story with Silver and Espio interactions are happening and boy, this is my favourite annual becuz of them.. I mean, I always wanted to see them helping each other and talking in this comic and I'm glad the writers know about their friendship in Sonic Rivals 2. I like the part where Silver was stressed of how normal the world is even if his future is normal.. like this dude has always been through a lot, thinking of saving everything and removing danger in his whole day and I'm glad that it's Espio who's willing to make him relax and have a holiday from being too hero by enjoying with his lovely farm. I Like how your first 2022 annual dub is this chapter..

This comic book is amazing.

I am genuinely happy that the ice comics are giving more attention to silver. Especially with the latest interaction between him and Blaze, as a Silvaze fan I ate that one up. Silver is one of my favorite characters, and it’s nice to see his character grow more. It’s also nice to see Espio give such great advice to silver like that. Hopefully one of these days we get a game where we get to play as both of them for real instead of games like team sonic racing or the Olympic Games, not that either of them are bad in anyway. I just want a game where I can play as other characters and see them show off their skills more.

Espio is right. Just relax buddy. Everything will be fine and besides you don't know what's going to happen you did fix the future either fix the past. Why not stay in a present time with the others. it's no point in going back home and besides I know Blaze is back her dimension. you can still go visit her. you want and come back to the future and go to the president your dimension Hopper and time traveler what's the difference. you still got plenty of time and relax go enjoy your friends. Espio is right.
