After over a month of work, I'm proud to present one of my best videos yet, my Future Funk completion! What filters it out from all the others is that this Geometry Dash completion has some funny dialogue in between attempts. Please make sure to bear through the unbearable intro, as it's definitely worth watching. (please I grinded my sanity every day to get this done) For my yapping on the level itself, while it is an enjoyable level with amazing decoration, 4 minutes and 20 seconds is purely an endurance test. Since I have prior experience with Hard Demons, my journey to complete this level wasn't nearly as bad as someone who had the ambition to complete this as their first Hard Demon. Also, I feel like the music very slowly desyncs through the level, and it's very prominent at the last 20%. Is this a gradual amount of lag, a bug that happens for everyone, or am I just crazy?
How to beat all parts of the level:
0%-4.8%:
This part is super easy, you'll gain experience over time because of how much you'll be playing it.
4.8%-7.6%
A small amount of memorization, but nothing crazy. In later attempts, you'll probably be sightreading the orbs without even realizing it.
7.6%-11%
The ship part is easy aside from the end, fly down earlier than you would think, since the glitching effect will tend to kill you if you don't fly down soon enough. The ball part is a walk in the park.
11%-16.1%
Just follow the path, there's no memorization in this whatsoever.
16.1%-20%
The invisible blocks and spikes are the only things you'll have to memorize in this part. There's not much to memorize, so just focus on sightreading this part. (ship section is easy btw)
20%-25.6%
Just sightread. Not too hard.
25.6%-31.5%
Memorize which 2 orbs are fake. Don't jump too late at 27.3%, because you will hit your head on the spike. (ship part is again, easy)
31.5%-33.2%
easiest part of the whole level, half of it is literally auto
33.2%-34.35%
Orbs are easy, don't click them too late.
34.35%-39.9%
Straight fly as much as possible, don't be lazy and try to hold/release for as long as possible.
39.9%-45.5%
Memorize how long you need to hold the red orb in the ship part. Click the dash orb in the UFO section late, because if you click it too early, the dash orb will work, but not the square orb. (the trigger which moves the spikes)
45.5%-51.1%
Practice these wave parts, they feel really awkward and cramped, so get comfortable with them as much as possible. The UFO parts are basically just consistency/music sync, so you don't really need to worry about that.
51.1%-55%
The second most memory-based part in the whole level. Practice this and remember which orbs to click and not to click. Remember where to teleport and where not to teleport.
55%-58.6%
Just remember where to hold and where not to hold.
58.6%-62.1%
Be careful when flying through the UFO sections. Once you switch to a ship, follow the arrows in the background, otherwise, you can consider yourself dead.
62.1%-70.45%
The dreaded dual, the most memory-heavy part in the entire level. PRACTICE THIS MORE THAN ANY PART, THIS IS A HUGE CHOKEPOINT. The first half of the dual is straightforward enough, you'll figure it out with practice experience. Once you get to the second half, focus only on the ball. Don't try to split your attention between both gamemodes. At the last 3 pink orbs, spam.
70.45%-76.1%
Click to the beat of the music and don't choke.
76.1%-80.3%
Pretty straightforward ball part. Click the dash orb late.
80.3%-83.3%
Practice jumping on the skyscrapers to make sure you don't hit the spikes before or on the platforms.
83.3%-90.5%
Nothing too crazy, just sightread and follow the beat of the music.
90.5%-96.2%
Memorize the click patterns for this part, DON'T CHOKE.
96.2%--99%
Buffer all the clicks, DON'T CHOKE
99-100%
Click the orbs when you're exactly in the middle of them, DON'T CHOKE DON'T CHOKE DON'T CHOKE DON'T CHOKE DON'T CHOKE DON'T CHOKE
Overall difficulty rating: 8/10
Overall enjoyment rating: 6/10
Aside from the crazy dual and the purple spider part, the isn't really memory crazy, it's more all about skill, which is good. I'd say this is around a high hard demon. If you have lots of patience, skill, and a heap ton of endurance, this level isn't a far cry. However, unless you really want to push yourself or you hate yourself, DON'T BEAT THIS AS A FIRST HARD DEMON. Anyways, thanks for watching.
