I got 90 Gullit from the icon packs and he does not feel as good as other years. His shooting as a ST is crazy. But he just feels a bit clunky no matter the chem style in the mid. Glad to see someone else is experiencing the same thing instead of a bot crying “skill issue” like I’m about to see below

I have 90 gullit and he doesn’t feel as good this year as he did in years past imo. You have to put an engine on him honestly and then he becomes much better. Around the box and the midfield there’s just no space this year so heavier players are a liability. With an engine it made him 10x better for me than when I tried shadow/hunter.

Same here bro. I got him from the icon pack and he is not him in the mid. I recommend a hawk at ST and shoot normal shots at the edge of the box. They go in damn near all the time. Hes 100% built for the attack

a little odd that people are complaining about gullit's attacking ability when its a more defensive card than his base? like he's not supposed to be the guy dribbling through the defence in the box

That’s literally what makes Gullit a top tier card, his presence all around the field, crazy defence, crazy shooting, crazy strength/pace to get open and okay dribbling that goes perfectly with his strength. If you make his attacking capabilities average then he just becomes another regular cdm.

Ive been playing this Gullit for about 500-600 games so far and he's been insane for me. Even though his shooting isn't that great with a gladiator on him i've scored around 400 goals with him, mostly long shots, and got around 150 assists adding up to approx. one goal contribution per game guaranteed. Even at this stage of the game. And he's a great indicator of how good your gameplay is. If the gameplay is trash, he'll be disappointing but if your gameplay is good he'll dominate the game. Aside from Zico he's been the most consistent card for me, you just gotta know how to play him. He's an R1 merchant and if you do it correctly your opponent is not going to be able to take the ball away from him. Press proven plus is insanely good on him, that applies to R1 and L2, his not a worse Gullit, just different and in my experience better than the base version.

what system do you play on?

As a 18-2 WL player and a elite division i got 90 gullit on the first icon packs. And hes so mid this year. I cant bench him price wise. Dont get me wrong hes decent but i would never pay more than 200k for a card like him . Glad people avoid this sbc i cant imagine how worse his 89 is

Wow, now I know I'm not the only one having problems with passing in fc 24. I was a good player at FIFA 2023 but with FC I've turned into a below average one.can't just pass the ball to a player 2 meters away from me. I aim the next player and pass, it goes between him and the opponent and gets intercepted.

its 100% the servers i havent played for 3 - 4 days .. i played 3 champ games and turned it off ... i couldnt move everything was delayed and slugish .. hopefully its better today

Sorry Nick but trying to left stick with Gullit you need to give your head a wobble. The baby version is like Viera he will sit in front of the back 2 and bully people. Use anchor for controlled lengthy and to boost the strength. He’s not like the other versions he’s more defensive.
