Had no idea this was even a product. Being as it is polymer based, I expected a little more out of it, judging by their waxes. Still wasn't the worst we've seen. Thank you for the review!

Apex Detail no but It reminds me of auto glym extra gloss protection I used a long time ago which is a watery liquid protection, didn’t really get on with it prefer the modern spray waxes that are used more like a drying aid for ease

I have the solid wax version of this, probably the easiest wax i have ever used, u dont even need to really buff it off, it kinda flashes off itself. I applied it over a pre wax cleanser (Mitchell and King pure ) which i dont think it liked as it didn't seem to bond properly. Ill apply it to bare paint next time as its meant to have strong beading and ok durability

no, i dont buy products with 'mirror shine', 'bossy glossy', '123h', 'shinemaster deluxe+', 'you'll need sunglasses pro', '12m high performance dura gloss' or equivalents in its name ok, i lied. i buy them sometimes and even try to like them. lol. tho i end up 99% of the time gifting them to not so fortunate jet washer guys at local gas stations.

Thank you for taking the time to review this product and eliminate it from a crowded field of similar superior products for us.

Great review Brian love fusso coat 99 wax but don’t think this one will be one I’m adding to my collection. Wouldn’t have known that with out you putting your time in to testing the many products you do so thank you.

Brian just wanted to say I think you've hit a home run with the "Ten wash test." That is probably closest to real world durability you can get outside of doing real time testing. Keep up the great work

In Germany, the Mirror Shine Series is much longer available. They have the light and the dark version, as the most Fusso Coat label products from Soft99 have. (Noone ever found out a real difference between the light and dark versions...) I tested the dark Mirror Shine Paste Wax and the dark Mirror Shine Liquid Wax. As you have shown: The Liquid Sealant is very bad, it has medium performance and looses it after some days / weeks, very fadt after every wash. But the Mirror Shine Paste versions are very, very much better! They are not lasting as long as the Fusso Coat 12M (polymer Sealant with a very good lasting time) for example, but it is very simple to get it on paint, because you do not need to wipe it off. The Soft99 Fusso Coat 12M is sometimes very hard to get on paint without streaks or anything like this, but it lasts very long. They made a new version of the 12M last year, which is easier, but does not last as long as the one before. Some points the Soft99 Fusso Coat 12M, also the Soft99 Fusso Coat Mirror Shine Paste Sealant and Soft99 The Kiwami are better than much other Paste Waxes and Sealants: They have no problems with heat! Most Waxes went down in days at the time we had very hot weather in Germany. The most of the better Soft99 products did not care about the heat. So they are very good for southern USA :)

Like others, I didn't know about this product until I watched this video.Would you be able to do another test with having the Fusso coat wax as a base and then having this cure on top of it and then torture test it?I wonder if it can do better and last more rounds of the road grime test?

Curious if you ever tested "MPT Classic." It's the new version of Liquid Glass that was around since the '60s...

It would be cool to see what this would do as a topper for the hard wax fusso coat, maybe it would last longer?? I know I get about 5 months for the hard wax..

What shampoo are you using for the 10 wash test?

Thinking about ordering some soft99 stuff directly from Amazon Japan as distributers for states are charging 100% or more on MSRP. One item almost pays for the shipping cost and the USA distributors charge their own shipping anyway! Only problem is Amazon Japan seems to be low on stock.

Fusso coat f7 would be a good one

Would this be a potential topper to boost the gloss of their traditional Fusso Coat Wax? I like the longevity of the Wax, but it doesn't compare to the look of Collinite 915 Marque De Elegance. Maybe this would bring it to that level? Just spit ballin... Thanks Brian!!! :-)

Koch chemie 1k nano would be fun to see. But not easy to get over in the US i guess.

mirror shine is use to top on and maintain the ordinary fusso 12months wax use and its work like a spray wax or detailing spray to give the wax in top condition

Fusso + BSD introduced as a monthly topper after the 4th month or so will see the overall protection last way longer than 12 months on a daily driver (12K/miles year). If you're in the UK, get Bouncer's Done and Dusted Si edition and throw it on top every 3rd wash for a huge bump in gloss and slickness without affecting water behaviour that Fusso +BSD gives.

You still recommend this combo for UK weather?

Has anyone ever used FEYNLAB CERAMIC COATING? If so how good is it compared to the Top ceramics like CQUARTZ UK 3.0? Can Apex Detail help by testing this product? Your response would greatly be appreciated.

Here in AZ heat kills everything in the matter of days. I wish I only had to reapply wax/ sealer every month

Same here in Florida. On a black car it is intense. However I have cquartz uk 3.0 on my black camaro and it is going strong at 14 months now. Seal n shine lasted around 3 months last summer. I’m curious to try the new TW ceramic spray once the summer heat rolls in around March

So do you think this would perform better over it's Fusso Hard Wax stablemate or would Turtle Wax Seal and Shine be a better topper? Cheers from 🇦🇺

Looks just like Collonite 845...but seems to be not near as good and more expensive!! Good test though B. thanks

kind of a lack luster product. the two test I like that you do is the gloss and slickness. I usually wax after every wash, out of habit.

You must have the largest collection of half empty bottles !

I will stick with the hard wax. Lasts way longer than this stuff.

I haven't tried it but I don't think it's worth to me.

This version of the soft99 mirror shine is for white cars and light Colors. Not dark Colors. So the results will be different for the correct mirror shine for dark cars

Next try soft99 kiwami, better gloss and durability than this product, can be used as topper over fusso coat

I think my money and time is better spent elsewhere....like poly seal for less cost and better results!!!!!!! was is warm enuf o wash the vette??????

This is a very old product from Soft99....at least 12yrs old. I have used it more than 10years ago. In reality, to the eye....there is no significant improvement in gloss and tonality. This outdated product can easily be bettered by any new generation of spray type products. Even Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax gives a more noticeable improvement vs the product above.

I don't think this one is worth it.

I think Fusso Coat was their One Hit Wonder until they changed the original formula. The brand is too gimmicky for me, sort of like a Japanese version of Meguiars.

Had higher expectations from this company. Seems strange they would put our such a weak product.
