I seen this show about 8 times now and I always feel so sorry for what happened to those kids.

I think taitskun was also warning them about having a relationship as it might affect the priestess decision on what to do. I read genbu kaiden, when uruki found out the priestess real fate from a baby taitskun(yes a baby version of herself) he avoided takiko and pushed her away, he relayed it to the rest as they also worry of takiko's fate if she did go through with it they avoided her too, until she returned to her real world hurt from being rejected. But of course it did not last long, she came back reconciled and still summoned w/c led to her death, uruki was a prince btw, he never married during hus reign and passed his title to his nephew when he was getting old, of course forever takiko in his heart till his death

It's been about 10 years since I first watched this anime and I still come back to it. This episode and what will follow will never not make me cry. It's just so sad and so unfair :( those little kids being murdered...Tamahome's father who had just recovered from his illness :((( GOD. I'll forever stay mad at Yuu Watase for being this cruel and doing this hasksks

Ok i understand that Miaka have to stay pure but come on Taiskun, it's not a crime if they hug! A hug won't ruin the summoning of Suzaku! Also, i love when Tamahome annoy Taski. They are so funny together, just like Inuyasha and Koga. It make me laugh pratically each time they annoy each other XD

Poor taski couldnt swim....ha ha..😂😂aaww!! He is soooo funny...!!😭❤️

I have one thing to say fushigi Yuugi is soooo much better than Ceres the celestial warrior and the way they eng dub this is so much better and so is the story line.. love fushigi yuugi

Yeah. But it's still good. But Yuu Watase was upset on the production bc that's not the ending she wanted as well. Maybe that's why her mangas no longer adapted to anime. But I hope soon her mangas will one day be adapted to anime.

the voice actor for tamahome has such a sexy voice. damn. i watched this anime when i was 12 or 13, and am now 23. such a beautiful romance/action/adventure anime. i keep googling "anime like fushigi yuugi" and everything that i've tried watching has been crap by comparison.

I love this episode so much!! I used to watch this particular episode over and over to the point I memorized the dubs. There's a lot of filler scenes here but it's heartbreaking to think that the next episode is my Top 1 saddest deaths on this anime.

I love this anime its so good
