Imo this anime/manga has a great pontential for live action. Idk why producers didnt make one. Instead they made poor Shonen live adaptations where in fact Shonen is really difficult to make in live action.

FYI: Fushigi Yuugi's story line is a Japanese girl transported into ancient China. Miaka should be played by a japanese actress.
