That Volvo rebuild looked like it would have been a prime candidate for buying a second trashed Volvo to use as parts hulk for the first one.

Love these games. Just wish it was this easy in real life to dismantle vehicles lmao. Even being a Technician, it's fun to play CMS. Can't wait!

Yes that's right hopefully this will be dropped soon because curious about the various different work benches. Also the new features of the fuse box. Wondering about if any of these features would be apart of the console version? 🤔

Love that it’s becoming more in-depth a great game for people starting mechanics! They should add all the interior lights eventually and the looms to make a fully functional car!! And maybe go to vans and suvs and lorries eventually

VOLVO 240 IS FANTASTIC

I will not miss the million tiny clips that were a pain to get, in 2018 some of the clips on the distributors phase through some of the V8 engines.

Didn't thought of that. That parts minigame may have removed the luck factor out of repairing, but it'll surely take longer now to fix parts, specially when you're restoring a junkyard card.

Volvo lead the path in everything safety related... the 240 was built from '74 to '93, and at least the newer models had airbag and ABS (optional)... the NHTSA named the Volvo 240 as the safest car in the American market 17 years after its introduction in 1974...

Game looks amazing, more then likely I won’t be playing the parts repair mini game though if I’m restoring a car but it looks amazing none the less. I do really hope this comes out on consoles from day one cause I waited so long for CMS to come out on PS.

now all we need to do is wait for full release!

This ^^ ... I painted some mirrors the other day because it allowed it in the paint booth. Changed them from chrome to matt black. They still looked chrome. :( Also wish to lower suspension so badly....

Nice repair job Diesel, it might have bankrupted the shop but that's life sometimes you know? lol Thanks for another episode, I did like the fuses as car repair needs tedium for realism. Really disliked the repair parts minigame though, that will take forever on a junkyard find, and make you want to buy parts instead. Nonetheless I look forward to its release, and a playthrough hopefully. Also another offspring song? you are spoiling me now haha. Also I always figured they made the games in the American southwest because it was cheap. No need to code vibrant plant life or snow etc, just orange sand and a cactus, natures most minimalist plant/deathtrap. Thanks again diesel and take care!

repair mini game is very simple once you get timing took me 3 parts to get it locked down

yes you can repair body parts and lots more

Finding timing parts on 2018 on expert mode is pain they have machines to check that

So hype for this game - hopefully they will let you put any engine in any car

Do you think this game would finally end up being multiplayer? If so, I'm soooooo hyped to see what other builds people have. Especially for ps4 since they removed communities and you cany even see other peoples builds.

Red dot games said a few yrs back that they tried making multiplayer for cms (problaby 2018), but the results weren’t what they wanted and so they rather listened to the community and fixed bugs and added more stuff than working on multiplayer. They also said that they would need to rewrite the whole game script for multiplayer to funktion properly. But who knows maybe they did rewrite everything in 2021 and multiplayer is gonna be one big surprise when the full release comes out, but i personally think that’s very unlikely. Oh well you can always hope

Somewhere this year, but no exact date. My guess is this summer because if they released the demo out of nowhere then they are probably almost done with the game. And demos are normally released when the full game comes out in a few months at most i think.

@@Koenegx they might be finishing some cars and modifications. So far you only see JDM car modifications, and they only showed 51 out of 72 cars in the trailer

If this is supposed to be the next Car Mechanic Simulator they might as well cancel the project and just make it a DLC. This is just a slight refurbish of CM2018. Same boring a.f dismantling and mounting, ordering of parts. Still no tool animations or electrical wiring. This is just to make money out of people who are new to the series and that have not tried the previous games.

@@WaffleEater53019 No, they are supposed to make dismantling and assembling more engaging than its predecessor. There is nothing unique about the new game. A slight update in colors within the menus and some new tiles does not count. There is almost nothing new brought to the table here. The menu structures are pretty much the same except som small mini games within the different workshop machines. Other than that it is the same game as CMS 2018.

Most of the things showed in this video both interaction with the parts, and menus are almost identical to the previous game. This game is just completely redesigned as an Iphone 6S compared to a Iphone 6.

@@torqenv812 so you mean polishing nuts and screws, use torque wrench on everything, too much force you screw up everything. Have to look for original parts. Each car has 4 model years and 3 sister model that has no way to tell, and if you picked the wrong year wrong model you lose 50% your restoration bonus, and they don’t tell you until when you are ready to sell. Low ball offers. everytime you try to sell a car the offer is different. if you don’t look carefully you would give up your hard work for tree fiddy. Electric wiring. you disassemble a door panel, can bus just left the chat. for every door panel, seat, steering wheel, instrument panel, you have to spend 5 hours making sure the wirings are correct. took off the wrong part, 6 year 60000 mile warranty on your 2017 Mosquito just went to la la land. If you don’t paint carefully you get tons of orange peel. Oh, you said your dripped oil on fuel rail and exhaust manifold two hours ago and now you are going for a test drive... You and your 65 Specture just turned into ghost rider. Yeah i wonder why they didn’t feature all that
