Description Optional second paper feeder communication problem • Communication fails five times successively. Causes Paper feeder installed incorrectly. Defective main PCB or drawer main PCB. Remedy Check the installation state of the paper feeder and adjust it if it is not properly installed. Replace the main PCB or drawer main PCB and check for correct operation.

Excellent video. Xerox c70 here... That sleeve you slid off that has all the black crud on it, is that normal? Did you replace that sleeve with a new one when putting it back together? If so, do you happen to know the part number?

What tools do you use, I have paper stuck in C60 fuser. I'm trying to open the fuser with 2.4 precession screwdriver, but some screw at the bottom is so tight. Can you guide me how to fix it.

Pour on the WD-40 screw and it will surely unscrew.

@@MrRicoh Tried it three times putting WD-40 on the screw, doesn't work. The screw is underneath fuser next to the stickers JFU-1, and some barcodes.

Remember that any metal screw can be heated with a burner if you cannot unscrew it. Since you use WD40, I assume that you are not a technician, so I will tell you a secret: In every photocopier, there are several screws that have a left-hand thread, i.e. they unscrew the other way. Maybe it's one of those screws?

@@MrRicoh Found a instruction guide of Partsdrop, that was also helpful. The WD40 still made it easier, but I now understand that hex 5.5 also can be used for the other screws. I'm not a technician indeed, but I fixed the paper jam. Hope the pressure tower screw should be 2 centimeter, because unfortunately I did not measure it. Still need to test the fuser.

Znam ten problem. Oznacza to że zastosowany wałek grzejny jest złej jakości i trzeba poszukać innego dostawcy jesli wcześniej było dobrze. Wiem że wałki Katun są w tym wypadku słabe.

Ale zbieg okoliczności. Właśnie zrobiliśmy zdjęcia do sklepu kompletnych nowych oryginalnych fuserów 008R12989 czyli do XEROX DC240 DC250 WC7655. Czy w moich Fuserach nie ma takich samych wałków i folii grzejnej jak w twoim? To by ci pomogło. Mam 4 sztuki, wielkie to jak diabeł :)

This component cannot be replaced, the entire FUSER UNIT must be replaced.

First, disassemble the heating unit and check how the shafts and thermistors look like, then clean the dirty elements. If that does not help, replace the fusing unit.
