Glad I could help!
I love your videos. They are very informative. I do have a question about the freeze and fuse. Would it make sense to add methyl cellulose to the water to give a bit more adhesion to the frit to stay together and not be so brittle?

I've never tried it, but I also haven't really had a problem with the pieces being brittle either. The secret is to really compact the wet frit into the mold well and soak up as much surface water as possible. Let me know your results if you do try it. I'd be interested in knowing.
Thank you! I’m currently a stained glass artist (hobbyist)and am interested in fused glass! Love it❤️. I’m researching kilns now and don’t know even where to start. Any suggestions? Thank you!!

My kilns at home are Jen Ken and the kiln where I teach is a Skutt. Both have been very reliable. Consider the shape of the kiln. It is sometimes hard to fit a square mold into a round kiln. Also consider the height. If you want to do screen or pot melts, or if you want to do drop vessels you will want a taller kiln. Buy the biggest one you can afford because you will eventually want a bigger one.
Pam, these are fantastic. Question for you, why don’t you put the first layer of rocks into the wet Plaster of Paris?

I've done it both into wet plaster as well as after the plaster has dried. Both methods work equally well.
What size pot do you recommend?

These are in a 4" pot, but I have also made the cacti a little larger, and used 4 or 5 of them, in an 8" pot.

these are so cute!!! Are you using a high temp wire ?!

Yes, it's 17 gauge high temp wire,
Are you not concerned about the chemical burn off with the superglue?? Looks like a neat way of setting the glass quickly but I wonder about the glue??

Are you concerned about fumes? I have never smelled anything that is concerning, and my kiln is in the garage so any fumes would be out there, not in the house. Or are you concerned about the glue leaving a mark? I have not had problems with it leaving a mark, as long as it is not gel super glue (that does leave a mark).
