Years ago an investigation into the special drug task force in the sheriff's office of L.A. concerning the thefts of money & drugs found in the arrests demanded that financial disclosure's be made by the unit was was responded to by the deputy's by threats that they would either transfer or outright quit before complying to the demand. The investigation was dismissed. No further action was made. At least 2 of the suspected deputy's were living FAR above their pay with very expensive homes, cars, boats, all fully paid for. Nothing was done and nobody quit or transferred.

I will like to see these officers on the other end of stick with the inmates, to show them that they are not above the Law

Do you honestly believe the Sheriff's department are Conservatives? The Feds are Socialist Lefties! This is a "cover my ass" operation by the Feds. Prisoner Rights are a Federal issue..... and somewhere down the line some Federal official who is a liability to other Federal officials is being protected by an investigation into SO's department before it goes any further. Thats why the Sheriff had to get "out of the picture" without meeting an accident that would draw more attention. It is kind of like the "Fast and Furious" fiasco. You think Obama didn't know anything about it? The Sheriff knows the players and how far it goes. Now he is immune. The Deep State are some crafty fucks.
