I’M LATE TO THE VIDEO NOOOO ;-; Regardless all of these reviewed are such gorgeous and distinct designs, insects (and bugs in general) are SUPER underrated species of furry/anthro. Even I’m working on studies atm so I can make more bug OCs myself 😭 (Also Bug.png is one of my fav twt artists, I was so excited when their sona was featured!)

When I say "bugs" I usually mean all arthropods! (Yes, that does include crabs and lobsters.) I also have an anthro slug character! They have arms and hair made of slime. They love coffee and is generally chill and go-with-the-flow. :>

That lion-bug fursona (that you thought was a mantis for some reason) is actually a antlion. They nest in the sand and trap other insects that walk close to their hole to eat them. Antlions are only larvae.

You should do custom exotic species next! Yinglets, servals, protogens, avali, amphimorphos, etc.!

I wish I had twitter so I could have done this. I have a fursona called “Willy” and he is literally a worm, he’s an earth worm with green hair. He’s also being made into a fursuit!

8:06 not sure if you got the answer already but it's based on an Antlion. Antlions aren't ants or lions they're an entirely separate insect that look like dragonflies atleast when they're adults. They spend most of life as larva which is how they're known for looking. If you wanna know how they look, search it up.

I’ve been watching you for like three years

Really need to make a bug character I recently made a character who is based off a owl butterfly wich is supposed to be a bit of a cryptic type characters because owl butterfly genuinely look really creepy up close and they look a bit like angels with the eyes on their wing. She isn't really a fursona since she is an oc.

This video makes me want to give my fursona more moth features (she is a cat + moth hybrid because I love both moth and cats I couldn’t choose which one so I chose both)
