Hello Lowe's Team, this video is great. I will start something like that too... but...it's a bookcase in black (Billy/Ikea). I want to change the color and the surface is very smooth, so sanding like you showed in the video will be part of it. I just have a question. Everybody tells me sanding, primer, paint, paint, paint, seal. And when I am done it is 6 steps at least. Please tell me that this is easier with this paint. Thank you, Alex
A have painted old furniture, but if we paint first in white, the other color is best, more bright.

Rule of thumb is you could but success depends on some other factors: doing any needed prep and considering what is under the primer. If you're going over multiple coats of oil you may want to stick with oil. Thanks for watching.

If this is an oil based paint wont it need terps or white spirit to clean brushes, it says in video soap and water ?
